I'm tempted to suggest this is what happens if you eat more than you exercise, but it's self evident. Also my hair is so fine and grey it doesn't always show very well in photos, then none of me is photogenic but I've lived with that for a long time.

Pensive?

Podracer's picture

Possibly the worried look is false, considering the bright light Ang may be tending to squint a bit towards the window. Funny how one photo may suggest something completely different to another. Sometimes I look at an image of my fizzog and think it is someone else, it makes me imagine I am actually someone else from week to week. Or sometimes don't recognise the old git.
Anyway, I still think Ang is doing it "gracefully".

"Reach for the sun."

very nice

Picture. By the looks of things I would say that you where deep in thought about things.

Bats are wonderful creatures,

Bats are wonderful creatures, Ang! Cute, warm, and furry; attentive mothers, too. The enormous number of insects they consume makes the world more bearable for we humans. Here in North America the poor things are being decimated by white-nose disease.

I feel your comment about fine, grey hair, I have that in spades.

Take care,

Kris

{I leave a trail of Kudos as I browse the site. Be careful where you step!}

"…Age cannot wither her…"

Rhona McCloud's picture

"…Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale
Her infinite variety: other women cloy
The appetites they feed: but she makes hungry
Where most she satisfies…"

That seems a perfect description of you Ang. I on the other hand seem to now look like the Grandma I never liked as gravity takes its toll.

Made me smile

Memories of a tramp round Arne with everything from peregrine to raft spider to jellyfish.

Quite nice

You look content. That is all any of us can ask for.

You and I

Are not too far apart in ages, I think you look marvelous!

What you see in the mirror

I see a beautiful woman, a brilliant author and a loving parent. A friend to many and someone who gives much for the enjoyment of others. There are no wrinkles just smile lines thinking of all you have done to make a lot of people happy.

sorry

Don't see the resemblance at all.

Old bat in good company

When we swapped images, I should have used a 20yr old one also. I felt jealous that you looked 20yrs younger then me 8-)
Not bad for a 60 year old grandmother.

Kevin

PS: what brought this on ?

Wrinkles

That was my problem, I tried to have the Siamese take the pic, but like a cat, he refused.
