Birthday present!

What a way to make everyone happy for my birthday :)

Yes that is really my birthday, and everyone is invited to my 50th birthday party...which will occur 144 years from Monday :)

We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

Same birthday as....

...Clark Kent!

At least there was a story back in the 60s or so about the Kents picking Feb 29 as the birthday for their foundling. :)

Drats!

You have figured out my other secret identity!

Actually I never knew they did that with superman?

So I take it that Clark Kent had to wait 72 years for his 18th birthday?

Teen disco

I once had a manager that arranged a teen disco on his 13th birthday.

My oldest niece

Patricia Marie Allen's picture

My oldest niece was born on Feb. 29th. My uncle caused it. My dad had 7 grandsons with my sister said she just felt like her second child was going to be a girl. My uncle said that for my dad to have a granddaughter, she either have to have two heads or be born on Feb. 29th. Well two heads were out of the question, so...

Well, that broke the log jam. I then produced two girls and my sister then went on to have a total of 10 children, 7 of which were girls.

Hugs
Patricia

February 29th? That's my mom's grandfather's BD

on her dad's side of the family.

He's buried in a small cemetery just north Germantown, WI.

In his nearly 80 years he had less than 1/4th of his BD's fall on the correct day.

Mine ALWAYS fall one week before Christmas. Dang it.

SOOOO many of them tooooo.

Leap Day Baby

I missed being a leap day baby by just over 3 hours. The subject came up while I was in a local bank branch repairing a printer and it turned out the guy who was over chatting with me(Chatting me up I think) was also born March 1 on a leap year. Of course the old saw about only being 1/4 as old as your real age came out and the guy said

"Well that means you'd be 8..."

Talk about flattered! The truth is more like 11...

Needless to say I didn't correct him but I'm definitely keeping up with the Retinol stuff!

I'm so dense on that level I didn't realize he was hitting on me until that moment... Some girls just politely ignore the attempt, I'm likely to not even notice it. Good thing I'm not looking!

John... Getting older is better than the alternative!

Apparently, we can't post a story either. I tried three times, when you hit 'SAVE' you get kicked back to the 'Fiction' screen.

It's an intermittent thing which is the hardest to track down.

Yeah, and my customers scream

Yeah, and my customers scream loudly when I don't have one of those fixed after the first time they see it, and I still haven't.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
