This morning's news from Big Closet members is very uplifting but when I checked Facebook a friend had posted an old downbeat joke. In the mood of the day I decided to update the joke and here it is:-

A group of Hell's Angels in South Carolina are riding east on 378 when they see a girl about to jump off the Pee Dee River Bridge, so they stop. George, their leader, a big burly man, gets off his Harley, walks through the group of gawkers, past the State Trooper, who is trying to talk her down off the railing, and says,

"Hey Baby . . . whatcha doin' up there on that railin'?"

Tearfully she replies, "l'm going to commit suicide!!"

While he doesn't want to appear 'sensitive', George also doesn't want to miss this 'be-a-legend' opportunity so he asks . . .

"Well, before you jump, Honey-Babe .. .why don't you give ol' George here your best last kiss?"

With no hesitation at all, she leans back over the railing and does just that . . .

It's a long, deep, lingering kiss followed immediately by another even better one and after they breathlessly finish, George gets a big thumbs-up of approval from his biker-buddies, the onlookers, and even the State Trooper.

"Wow!" says George. That's the best kiss I have ever had! That's a real talent you're wasting there, Sugar Shorts. You can be famous if you ride with me so why are you committing suicide?"

"My parents don't like me dressing as a girl."

George promptly sweeps her over the railing onto his pillion saying, "Well they better get used to it because this is 2016 and youse gonna be my ol' lady!" and with that they ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after.

Rhona, you don't know too many Hell's Angels do you?

The original punchline left the reader to guess whether she jumped or was pushed… These days most of those who can afford Harley's are accountants with mid-life crises.
