Practicing some radical distraction, I was cruising YouTube when I found an hour long video of "Similarillion", a JRR Tolkien story about the beginning of all things. I was actually quite lovely. Then moving on I found a series of beautiful and astonishing videos by Skyrim that were so impressive to me. How do they write the code to do that and then to make the figures move so realistically? Then the scum on the bottom included some Rape Fantasy videos, apparently many countries outlaw them, but it does not seem like America does. :(

I can now see where many of the popular stories come from, and they seem to provide just lots of inspiration. I am not pleased that most of the female characters are almost naked. That and having heard that some 40% of the code writers are themselves female. What the hell ladies? I'm not at all surprised that many of the players of these games who are said to be female are in fact males. Hummm.

Have fun.

It takes all sorts

Here in the UK we have a genre of fiction that is generally named after the publishers, Mills & Boon. Escapist Romances in the main and aimed squarely at the female reader.
Almost all the authors use female names yet I recall reading something some years ago that at least 25% of the authors are actually men.
So you have women writing porno and men writing romances. Whatever next eh? {as I glance at the work on this site}

Mills & Boon

Are you sure it's escapist romance? some of the scenes are extremely "steamy". (yes I have read and sometimes do read M & B.

Joanna

Steamy?

Yes but I didn't want to over egg M&B.
On second thoughts, what not is escapist about a hot and steamy sex session unless you know better?

Categories

Mills and Boon do different categories. Note: while I have read many romances I have never actually read any Mills and Boon.

I believe that the books are colour coded according to the level of steaminess desired by the reader.
