Covert Readers

We're just wrapping up the family holiday of the year. Many readers are wary of a relative seeing their reading material so things slow down some. It will pick up again, rest assured.

"Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.”
George Carlin

I'm still around, but I haven

I'm still around, but I haven't seen much that's drawn me into reading it in the last week or two. Maybe one every four days.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Still here!

Still here! Reading as time, chores (and bowl games) permit.

Still here

Still here and getting in to read when I can

Not just family, having time with them who are delaying me getting in to read or even write I have to work and have only had Christmas Day and New Years Day off over my normal
days off

Oppps and e mailing friends I have found here as well

Readers are here

Suspect many in Uk been busy with long holiday eating drinking and going to see those relatives who will talk to them. Personally too busy to read consistently settling into medications routine after my Xmas present to self. But am keeping up when I can.

I'm here...

Just doing some research of my stories. I'm here but was on vacation, too.

Myself

Myself, I think I'm getting kudos at a higher rate than usual. I'm not sure if I have more readers, or more appreciative readers.

Re: Myself

I think that I must agree with Daphne on this, on both of her remarks here.

The first two pieces I put on the site here are part of my Adam's Daughters tales, the first one has been up on the site for 29 months, with 81 kudos, the second underwent major revision about five months ago, it has 62 kudos.

December has been a productive month for me, I posted six parts for Home Is Where The Heart Is, a story for Haylee V's Smoky Corners Tales, the prologue to my forced femme story No Place To Call Home, two chapters for Elsewhere, Otherwhen, Somehow, the beginnings of a glossary and dictionary for Elsewhere, Otherwhen, Somehow and some pieces of the prophecy for Elsewhere, Otherwhen, Somehow.

I've been averaging about 65 - 70 kudos for each piece I've posted in December, with the prologue for No Place To Call Home being at the low end, with only 16 kudos, and the prologue to Home Is Where The Heart Is being at the high end, with 127 kudos.

I've posted two pieces so far in the new year, the first getting 52 kudos in less then two days, the second 4 in about 35 minutes.
