I need to amend my previous blog post because I really didn't explain what happened all too well.

The other day I went to post Chapter 1 of my Safe to Play story. All fine and good, I posted it without issue and I get into a call with a good friend of mine from the site in Sephrena. She was helping me fix some issues I'd had when I posted the story. When she went to save it however it was revealed that it was removed. Sephrena then called the person who removed the story to ask why. The person who removed the story accused me of stealing another story that I HAD NEVER HEARD OF. Upon me reading the story they accused me of stealing I saw the similarities. Here's the thing about this though, the inspiration for Safe to Play didn't even come from BC at all. In fact, It came from a book that my grandmother had given to me as a gift. Said book was like from the 80's and this was her copy from when she taught school back then.

Enough of that though, I have more pressing issues that I have to mention.

Previously I've mentioned that I have Parkinson's and I'm really tiny. Well in reality that is not a good combination and I struggle to do much of anything during the day.

I've had to return to working at home because I can't control a car anymore and It's hard to write anything with Pen and Paper.

The whole thing that happened with my story just made me realize that I no longer can write anything with any sort of stability.

I also need several operations which will keep me from writing so it makes more sense for me to leave now rather than later so in case I am not capable of writing anymore, I'm not stuck in limbo of something I had just started to write.

I'm sorry that this has to happen, but my condition is worsening and If the surgeries don't help I would be nothing more than helpless.

It's wise to talk to me

I did unpub one story for a complaint that it was a rewrite of another story with the names changed: it wasn't your story.

The prolog of Safe to Play seems to have gotten unpubbed by accident. The unsticky button is next to the unpub button and my hands tremble (not Parkinsons's, it's called intentional tremor and I have had it all my life.) A concatention of errors caused the chapter 1 of your story to get unpubbed, too. I can explain how but it is just too stupid.

Anyway, if ANYONE thinks their story has been unpubbed, TALK TO ME. Not someone else. Sephrena was on the phone with me and asked if I had unpubbed a story. I said I had and why. I did not know which story Sephrena thought I was talking about.

Sorry about this.

Hugs,
Erin

= Give everyone the benefit of the doubt because certainty is a fragile thing that can be shattered by one overlooked fact.

I honestly didn't know.

I didn't know who to go to in all honesty. If I had known to talk to you I would have. I'm sorry for this but even so, my physical issues make it difficult to write so unfortunately I have to stop

Don't leave!

You don't have to leave now, just because you find writing difficult right now.

The future hasn't been written yet, despite all the investigations oof the Vast Multidimensional Beings. You cannot know if your difficulty is permanent or whether alternative writing methods could become available to you.

Besides, people don't just come here to write, you know. Some come to read. A site that only had writers would be like write-only memory in a computer: a bit useless. There are plenty of fine stories here for you to read as you work your way through your problems and reading is way easier than writing.

As for similarities with other stories, it is said that there are only a limited number of plots anyway. It is entirely likely that your story resembles one or more others; I have found others that eerily resemble my own works in certain ways, but I know that what I write is only the result of my own fevered imagination.

Change the names, change the towns, change the country. It is always possible to create a new angle on an old tale. Sometimes it isn't the plot, it is the way the story is written. It isn't difficult to make something unique to you.

Please don't go, just because of these seeming roadblocks.

Robert Heinlein said something to the effect that an author takes a story idea, files off the serial number, slaps a fresh coat of paint on it and sends it out. Most every story will find its audience, just give it a go.

I understand how the shakes can really make typing hard, got a bit of that problem myself. Have you considered using a voice dictation software? The stuff has gotten pretty good over the years, I have a friend that is totally blind that uses it. He is an electrical engineer for a large state university nearby and makes extensive use of it during his day-2-day activities. He can then take the resulting file and run it through a braille converter program for his future reference.

I would think you could do that if you had the assistance of a good editor. Or you could maybe clean up things yourself once you have eliminated the drudgery of having to type it all out.

Give it a thought before you give up, where there's a will there's an hei . . . . a way.

have you searched the web

google this without the quotes "homeopathic treatment Parkinson's"
Whatever you do is your choice and yours alone. I no longer advise anyone except in generic terms.
Now go over to Youtube and do the same search
homeopathic treatment for Parkinson's
This is a disclaimer. I am NOT a licensed medical doctor.
Put this in the Google search engine
homeopathic treatment Parkinson's DMSO
Finally put this in the Google search engine and if possible order the book.
The Persecuted Drug: The Story of DMSO: Pat McGrady Sr
and then Google this without the quotes "she gave her mother dmso"
No matter what you read from the FDA and many Gov sources about DMSO being a toxic poison. I have been using it externally and internally for a whole lot more years than I'm going to share. If you would like to know, DM me.
To drink it, I put one teaspoon in a juice glass full of orange juice. It takes a leap of faith to drink something labeled paint thinner. Anyway, I buy mine at the Farm Supply for a tenth of the price one can get it from a health food store. I buy a gallon at a time. One can purchase it in half pint bottle. Go online and one can buy it from the distiller out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

To keep the FDA and swat team from showing up at my door hauling me off for giving medical advice. I am NOT giving advice. I AM sharing information.

All my love, get well, come back to us darling.
always,
