Life had been pretty simple for Ray. Eat, sleep, draw, and geek out over anime and manga with his small circle of friends. So when one of those friends suggested engaging in some cosplay for an upcoming Comicon as some of their favorite anime characters, it sounded like the perfect summer activity. That was until he found out just which character he was supposed to be.

What started as a fun idea quickly turned into a mixture of inner conflict and self-discovery that Ray had never known even existsed and served as the root for one of the most dramatic and uncertain changes in his young life. The question was, would this roller coaster be a fun-filled thrill-ride, or a complete derailment of everything in his life.

From the author of Prom Changed Everything

comes another wonderful story. If you missed it while it was posted here or even if you read it this is a story worth having to keep. Yeah I'm biased because I edited it but I paid full price for a copy anyway and BC does get a commission if you use the link above to purchase it. For those who like a hard copy I believe one will be available soon. Currently #3 in Transgender romance after hitting #1 earlier.
And if you haven't read Prom Changes Everything be sure to pick up a copy of that too.
Well what are you waiting for? Click that link and enjoy a weekend cuddle up with Paradox's newest book.

Looks intresting, but it's infected with DRM

Looks like an interesting story, however given that you have it with DRM from Amazon I have to ask if you are planning to offer it from Smashwords, Lulu or some other seller? Because while I could get it and remove the DRM, I don't get books with DRM as a matter of principle.

Ah, okay.

Ah, okay.
sorry I missed the story while it was on BC, if you ever fix the DRM issue I'd Like to get the book.

Part2

Can' acceess it

I really like "free", but ...

I also respect the right of a creator to enforce limitations on use of his/her creation. For less than the cost of a Latte (sometimes less than the cost of coffee at a family restaurant) I get to spend an evening or two (I'm a slow reader) with one of those creations. The "Amazon/Kindle model" may have shortcomings, but its convenience is hard to beat! (I would like to be able to feed my Kindle purchases into my favorite text-to-speech software to ease the strain on my eyes.)

I finished reading this one before it transitioned to Amazon, but I was surprised at the short lag between BCTS and Amazon. For those who really prefer to wait for a serially released novel to be complete before committing to reading, authors should be "up front" about their planned transition schedule.

Between the wrinkles, the orthopedic shoes, and nine decades of gravity, it is really hard to be alluring. My icon, you ask? It is the last picture I allowed to escape the camera ... back before most BC authors were born.

Actually, I was up front

Actually, I was up front about the transition time. The posts have since been removed largely because the site seems to have been having some technical issues, but before I even posted the story itself I posted an introduction saying that I would be offering it here exclusively for one week and that it would be taken down when it goes on sale July 1st. I tried to make it as clear as possible that the stories would be removed July 1st because that was when the book would become available for sale.

If there was any confusion about that I do apologize.

You're right!

Now that you mention it, I recall the "one week" reference. Just did not recall "by whom, for what!" :(

"Ya done good!" Thanks for reminding me.

Some racial stuff

So I read this while it was still up here. I liked it a lot, but there was a little bit of racial stuff that made me kind of uncomfortable. Specifically, I actually am half white and half East Asian, and sometimes I get annoyed about how the only time you see characters like that is when someone has watched too much anime and therefore wants to make a character Asian, but not TOO Asian (anyone see Big Hero Six or Miraculous Ladybug?) I mean, in fairness though, lots of other things are way worse.
