well, in case I didn't have enough stress, my car is now in the shop being repaired, which will wipe out what little of my bank account I have left. The anxiety over this has caused my muse to go hiding, so I cant say when or even if I'll have something new for you guys, and I'm sorry.

Anybody got a hug or two they can spare?

Cupful of hugs

Of course, there is a large list of members here who have hugs to Spare! I keep all my hugs in a cup which I now give you, and just like love, what I use is always replaced contained in a new cup. Truly, my cup of huggles runneth Over!

"Reach out your hand if your cup be empty. If your cup is full, may it be again," - The Grateful Dead, Ripple from the album 'American Beauty'.

HUGGLES!!!

Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?

Multiple hugs coming your way

Sorry to hear about your car problems Dottie. I often feel that I should have been an electrician, plumber or car mechanic, then I would be very rich. I had to have a plumber come and replace the pressure valve on my hot water system. I watched him do it and it was so simple I could have done it myself. The valve cost $100 and his labour for 10 mins work was another $100, and he drove from another job 5 minutes away as he wasn't needed for a short while, and then went back to it. Grrrr. I guess that doesn't make you feel any better, but I hope your bill is reasonable.
Hugs, Bronwen

hugs

This sissy went all butch for a day last Saturday, wielding all sorts of wrenches and getting covered in gunk to service the car, bad for the nails and hair but a few hundred pounds better of. The long girly soak in the tub to clean up and recharge is almost worth it! Dunno what car service charges are in the U.S. but the main dealers over here charge a fortune!

Mechanics

I had my Motorcycle serviced yesterday and the Mechanic was a woman and wasn't butch in any way. She did a very good job and 'she' is running very sweetly. The bike is one year old today. In the past I would have done it myself but these modern bikes like cars need specialist diagnostic gear. Still I have my '82 Bonnieville to tinker with when I feel the need.

I borrowed a new Bonnieville as a loan bike while mine was being services. 1200cc engine. There is so much grunt at the bottom end is it scary as the bike is so light when compared to mine.
