So here we are, a week into May and summer is almost over! Well the temperature has certainly dropped and we had some wet yesterday so that must be it right?

Anyhow the news this week:-

I scrambled around the event on Sunday, five and a half hours was, I think, quite respectable given the warm weather, difficulty of the terrain and my fitness level. The next test of the legs is a month away so hopefully i'll be running even better by then, its another testing Yorkshire route and i'll hope to be close to my previous rides on the route.

More Gaby has been passed to the Editor, I'm still aiming to finish this segment at the weekend, before the builders (well demolishers actually) arrive on Monday.

I've got a last bit of kitchen clearing to do, move the white goods and then spend a month eating cold beans but finally, thirty years after first being promised, i'll have a useable kitchen with a sink that you can get more than a cup in and cupboards to actually put stuff in! of course that's only the beginning of the job, there will no longer be an excuse to not decorate or buy actual furniture and whilst I've already got rid of a ton of stuff i'll actually be able to do a proper job instead of deferring by just boxing stuff up!

Saw the GC again after Sunday's ride - you forget how quickly they grow and put on weight!

So that's the news - well except for a link to Insecurities, the 31st chapter of book 16, Sweet Sixteen. Hope you enjoy it.

for now that's it so Ciao for now

Yay! And this is the 4th segment so another full book will be coming out shortly. (And please don't disillusion my fantasy with explanations of how long it takes to go though editing, proof reading and quality control, publishing the segment, then assembling the four segments and publishing the book. This is my fantasy and I am enjoying it.)

I've been thinking a lot about Gaby recently. Partly because I was reading "Easy as Falling Off A Bike" but mostly because I've been in the mood to re-read some books and Gaby keeps popping up in these thoughts. I re-read the first 5 or 8 Gaby books once before and I am in the mood to re-read them again. Gaby books make such wonderful reading.

just glad

That you still enjoy my squiggles!

If I get the writing finished this weekend the full book will be about a week later in appearing although the segment could be out as early as Sunday.

Chapter 38 is half written, i'll finish that in the morning abw. The biggest issue is plot for the last couple - I have some threads but I need to work them up a bit.
