Found a story while cleaning and arranging the folders I store my writing in that I thought I would share. I wrote it something like 6 or 7 years ago as a Whateley Academy Fanfic and then scrapped the first draft of the story for a completely different one that I was posting when their old site went down.
I promised myself I would not create any "new" serialized stories until I finished at least one of the three I have currently up and not finished.
I'm not breaking that promise by posting "Coyote" as it is a completed story. Slightly less than 40k in word length, I'll post it in multiple sections as I edit it into something readable :)
One thing I noticed in the Whateley stories is there is a lot of talk about powered armor and giant robots but no stories with a student that builds or operates one.

Jericho has demonstrated working power armor in canon and has been working to make it devisor-free.

Was more into cars and had an old Mustang (?) she had souped up and put experimental parts on that she developed

Loophole is a member of
the Gearheads and the Lit Chix, and one of the inventions she made for her mustang was some sort of fuel system.
She does have powerarmor, that was co designed by her and the AI that has a resembelance to Maria a former student, she also created a powercell for it based on a thesis by 2 of the scientists from the powers testing department.
The powercell had a side effect when a duplicate was made for Jericho's Rafe Armor.

and Mountain Drake, I had forgotten about her having any power armor, but then she was supposed to be like the greatest gadgeteer in the known world up until she got saddled with the bear spirit.
