that isn't the half of it, the Hotel tonight has a free wifi connection through Vodafone which is, to put it bluntly, crap. What should have taken a few minutes has taken best bit of an hour but you can at least read Instant Parent tonight! I guess its not helped by the control pad on my lap top working in reverse, one day i'll have computers that actually work properly.

We've been busy since leaving Fuschl, we visited the Inn/Danube confluence in Passau, had a quick look at Regensberg, stayed at a Brauhaus, went to the railway museum in Nurnberg, explored a bit of the Romantische Strasse, hit a model railway and finally took a look at Rothenburg where we're camped for the night! phew, forgot to mention I've been out for a couple of bike rides too, around 100km worth - well it would be impolite not to having got the bike with me. Of course, along the way we've sampled some beer, eaten some cake and taken some photos - oh and Eis, can't forget the daily ice cream can we.

Its been just shy of 30c here today, not bad for mid September in northern Europe, well its been verging on uncomfortable but can't complain.

Anyhow, two more travel days before the ferry back to Yorkshire, a chance for more German cuisine of course. So my next post will be from Yorkshire on Sunday as usual but for now, its auf wiedesehn from Bayern,
