So, as much as this might come as a shock to many, I'm as human as everyone else in the world. I know, I know, please try to contain your shocked horror.

In all seriousness, I'm just as culpable when it comes to making mistakes as anyone. No matter how much I try to check myself during the writing process, and in the review process, and in the editing process, there are plenty of mistakes that can be missed and end up in the final, published copy of my books. However, I've been fortunate enough to have been contacted by various individuals who read and enjoy my work and let me know about these mistakes so I can correct them.

To those of you who have gotten in touch with me and pointed out these errors, I just want to say thank you. I'm so glad that you've enjoyed my work to the point of wanting to help me improve it, even if it's something as simple as a minor spelling or grammatical error. While I won't say that making money from my books isn't a significant reason why I published in the first place, it's people like you, who not only let me know you've enjoyed my stories but offer me help with them I didn't even know I needed, that keep me going when I'm feeling worn down or have hit the metaphorical wall face-first.
