Yes, i've completed my 10th Spreewald Radmarathon today, that's @ 200km in just over 6 hours. I had intended to be a bit more reserved this year instead of which, after a few miles of taking it steady I found myself ramping things up and even being comfortable taking my turn at the head of the peloton! It's all done for research of course, I wouldn't have any of my characters doing anything I wouldn't do!
Time now for some bier and I reckon some fresh Spargel with Schnitzel to replenish the energy reserves.

It sounds like you were enjoying it then, if your energy was spilling out.
Was thinking of you, honest, on my more mundane 50km with supermarket stop. In the wind and rain this morning.
