dream time again. I dreamed I was in a classroom and was getting frustrated because I couldnt make head or tails of the assignment I was given, It got so bad I started to wonder why I was in the class at all, when the class was sent out to a outdoor stage to watch a performance. I started to enjoy myself, but then I saw down the hill from the the stage a building was collapsing, soon gigantic pieces of marble and rock were flying up the hill at us. A large rock fell right in front of me, but I was able to push a little, and then climbed it. Iat the top of the rock I saw a gigantic face - ape like, maybe King Kong size, looking at me and then it turned away as if I no longer mattered. then I woke up.

Dreams...

... and nightmares. Your dream reminded me of many of my own. Typically, I'm back in elementary school or high school, or a combo of both. Sometimes it might be law school or graduate school, or a combo of all. The problems, words, or things I'm trying to learn or have supposed to learn, are out of my reach. I realize I've completely blown off a certain class for the entire semester. I have to be somewhere on time, and I can never remember where it is. And I routinely have reality shifts, usually only noticed when I wake up. Once, though, I had a blatant reality shift occur right in the middle of my dream, because I was prepared.

In one case, my dream must have dug deep into the hidden memories of my distant past. I had to know what the "Cauchy Angle" was, and I hadn't the foggiest idea. I looked it up after I woke up, and it was something quite simple. I didn't really know whether I'd actually learned it back then, but it was something I very well might have. Cauchy, of course, was a famous mathematician.

Weird Dreams and Coincidences

That's a weird one, Dots. I have weird dreams like that occasionally. The dream I had the other day was more the "strange coincidence" type. I had a dream I was visiting my brother's ex (who is still a family friend) in the hospital (no idea why), and I was awoken from that dream by my other brother visiting, and while he was here, he told me our other brother (the ex of the woman I dreamed I visited in the hospital) actually had just gone to the hospital and would be there a few days at least. Strange. I don't usually dream about the hospital, and nobody in my family's been in the hospital for the last few years. So that's why I said it's a "strange coincidence" dream.
