Thanks for all the nice comments on my recent postings in this series.
As I have hinted, there is more of this series to come. I havetwo more stories under development. I wrote more than 3000 words for one of them yesterday. The other story is far more problematical. It may well see the end of the series but it is not easy to write because of the crimes involved. I had an idea pop into my head around 02:00 this morning which may make writing to a conclusion a lot easier. Only time will tell on that one but it is shaping up to be another two part story.

In the meantime, I am open to ideas for storylines that might be of interest to the readers of this site.

Too Ill to read.

I read a bit of it but am too sick to continue. I hope to later.

Chicken Soup!

Sara Selvig's picture

Eat lotsa chicken soup! Three meals a day (more if the mood strikes.) The ailment is immaterial ... chicken soup is the universal cure! I know cuz my grandma told me!

Seriously, I hope you are feeling better soon, dear.

Between the wrinkles, the orthopedic shoes, and nine decades of gravity, it is really hard to be alluring. My icon, you ask? It is the last picture I allowed to escape the camera ... back before most BC authors were born.

Suggest a story for you to write? Akin to telling a jeweler how to cut and shape a diamond. Sacrilegious is the word that comes to mind.

Sam, I'll send you all my unfinished stories and you can polish them off. One or two dozen I suspect. When they get pushed back more than a couple months they get lost in time. Some I have even had to read to see if they were mine. Yep, my style of writing alright and maybe I'll work on them. Always later because other newer, fresher ones are waiting to get lost in the void themselves.

Maybe a couple weeks after I've died I'll make my own funeral. Don't count on it thought.

No Way. I totally agree with BarbieLee on this. I also don't believe in gilding the lily.
