I would like to offer some thank yous to the three groups of people important in this little niche world we have.
First, as an writer, I would like to thank the readers who have read or attempted to read the stories I have written. Thank you for your comments or votes. Thank you for attempting to let my stories live in a mind other than my own.
Second, as a reader, I would like to thank the writers who have offered me many hours of escape and enjoyment. Thank you for tweaking my imagination, making me want to join your group.
Third, as both, I would like to thank the administrators and sponsors of sites like BigCloset, Stardust, and FictionMania. Thank you for providing an environment where I can be both a reader and attempt to be a writer, while not requiring me to be an arithmeticer.

... as all three! Days like today, when I can't get out of bed, make me glad of two things. One, that I now have a laptop. Two, that I have BCTS to keep me company on those days! I've spent most of today reading and playing catchup. Heh.

Shootist
The next installment of the shootist series, The Shootist Disarmed, is the story I am currently working on. Though it is putting up a fight.
And thank you for the best wishes. Although I hope I did not give the impression I was leaving. It was just that I had something that made me angry at work yesterday and in my grumpiness I decided to call it an early day. Then while walking home I realized how nice it was and how fortunate I am that I can just decide to take an afternoon off. It was in that newly positive mood that I posted the thank yous.
