Don't take me too seriously. I'm just kitten around. :3

Would be fitting

For me to enter this with another of Meri's Christmas stories as Meri's original story was also an entry into the Christmas story contest back in 2017.

Last year, between Covid, work, and real life I was unable to write a new Meri story for Christmas and I felt bad about that.

Now if I can only come up with a new idea for a plot :)

We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

I'd love to try

but I currently have a half dozen unfinished stories, none of which are Christmas themed.

Not to mention 2,000 words might be hard for me since I seem mostly write short-shorts

Oooo!

I'd love to give this a try! I'm really not sure what I'd write though. Hopefully, my muse might have some idea. ;)

I'm in.

I already have an idea for the story.

Hmmm, that's not the way I usually work

I'll see if some idea jumps out from behind a bush and whacks me. The main problem (well, for me if not for others) is that the story is supposed to be so looooooooong ;)

And I join the chorus of those singing "Welcome back".

Maybe

I have an unfinished Christmas story sitting on my computer. Maybe this is the year I finish it. But I really ought to finish my Princess story before I enter another contest.

I soooooo want to post my

I soooooo want to post my first chapter…BUT….I will…I will follow the rules and not post anything until December…that should help me try and complete it in time.

Story

I had sort of decided to sit this one out. All my inspiration had dried up. Then a kernel of a story popped into my head while listening to my favorite girl band, so I started writing and I'll see where it goes.
