Greetings all
I would like to ask if any of you out here understand or write German? If so, we do need help to translate Maddy Bell's Gaby series into German. It is a large task, too much for just myself and my friends Sidonie and Fiona. It would be very nice if someone could pm me to help. We have our German TG Storysite Tor der Traeume as well we work on. I would like to say this would be a good experience for someone to learn more of us in Germany through helping us.

I do German to English translation quite well, the other way....

Even German to English translations are quite time-consuming to do properly. German is NOT my primary language so translations INTO German are a lot more difficult. I think it is MUCH easier to translate into one's primary language, because concepts FEEL more comfortable in the language in which one does their thinking.
Vocabulary, idioms, modern word usage and such; I just don't have the same breadth of knowledge in German. I think I could help with some editing though.

thank you for your offers. Of course we are always in need of translators and editors. More then often we also need help on certain English phrases. So we are really glad for any help we can get. Considering how many chapters Maddy has written until now, it takes some commitment I think to keep that work up. But you will be rewarded with the great honour being mentioned in every chapter. :) And... the most important thing perhaps, you get German lessons for free ;)

It has been a long held dream of mine to get Gaby translated to German and eventually into print so its great that the team will get some help on this monster project.
Now if i can just find a manga artist.....

I'm pretty sure there willing artists out there somewhere. Personally I'd recommend one who is illustrating my favourite online manga - AppleGeeks. (no comments please) But maybe you could ask the one who's doing SGVY.com
