Good to hear.

I hope that things stay good enough and Karen stays healthy enough to avoid another trip to the hospital.

Life is full of the unexpected

I didn't expect to have such a strong reaction to the new medication. I didn't expect my brother to tell PB, John and the rest I was in the hospital. I didn't expect that John would post that here on BC. But above all, I didn't expect the outpouring of well wishes from everybody here on BC. Thank you all very much.

For the record, I had a bad reaction to some new medication my doctor decided to try for my pinched nerve in my back. My stomach is prone to bleeding when I take too much OTC pain relievers and some other steroid-type medications. This stuff was neither, and stomach bleed was low on the list of side-effects. Naturally, I had to be the atypical patient. :-( On top of that, my doctor just closed down last month due to the crappy economy, so I had to deal with the doctor on-call when I was taken in. He, becoming a bit paranoid after looking at my health records, decided to hang on to me for a bit; and prescribed lots of rest. My oldest brother took that in a literal sense, and took my cell phone, so I had no Internet access.

I am now in reasonably good condition, (for me, anyway), and expect things to be back to normal in the not so distant future. But I've got a lot of catching up to do here on BC. Imagine that, too much to read! Life is tough! ;-)

Again, thank you all for your kind wishes!

disappointed, I still could wreck on the way home! ;-)

However tempting, no running over widows, nuns and orphans. I know I do.

Does that sound right? Never mind.
