That judgement could potentially be useful if there are other areas of the law that don't recognise gender reassignment...

There are many in this situation. Happily married, they have given up rights under the GRA in order to stay in a legal marriage. This should leave the DWP with eggy faces.

Now, I wonder if I can claim because the solicitor dragged out my annulment for six months following the GRA, thus preventing me from receiving my pension? Probably not; I might have had a case against the solicitor for negligence.
