This is my mothers response to the letter I sent her.
Well! Reading your last e-mail was a shock to say the least. Here is my answer---I don’t care if you are a man or woman or stick or rock or barbarian!!! I just care if you are a good person!!! That’s the bottom line–the kind of living human being you are. Love, Mom

Charity - pure love of Christ.
I'm so happy for you. I'm glad enough my own parents haven't completely blown up on me, and, amazingly, it's my dad who's been showing the more charitable response. But to have such open and completely pure acceptance and love... Kudo's to your mom, if she's a Christian, she really lives her faith. If she's not - well, having true Christ-like Charity is still an excellent trait to have!
