I do not want to alarm any one here but you may not of noticed that a large white wolf has been watching you ,from the cover of the shadows, all sitting around the camp fire the rest of you refer to as BC. This wolf watched for a couple of years before leaving the first foot prints about 1year 44weeks ago. Now the wolf has sat next to Bailey Summer and had the pleasure of her company. Yes the wolf is me and yes I come to be a comrade not looking for a cheep lunch.
It is hard being a T.G. Inter sexed wolf but the hard I do immediately the imposable takes a little longer. It is the warmth and love I see shared among the rest of you that attracted me at first, then the extraordinary talent of Angharad, Baily, Armond and the rest of the fine authors I have had the pleasure of reading here that makes me see this wonderful bunch of honest and funny people as friends I wish I could invite over for a big party, come one come all. This is imposable but that just means to me it may take a little time.
My children 7 and 10 are familiar with Catherin and Bike ,Edited of course, and many of the other family friendly characters I have found here. And when my spouse of 15 yrs left me for LA and here writing, you have taken up those lonely hours helping me find the humanity I thought I had lost. I want to thank all of you and your characters for the help you never knew you gave. I just hope I may soon be able to allow some of my imaginary friends join yours on the play ground called BC.

Come, we have bacon!

Wolves like bacon, right? Because I sure know TG's do! Me being case in point.

Bacon You gots Bacon

Bacon You gots Bacon I love bacon especially smoked thick cut Amish bacon yummmmmmmm. He He

The only bad question is the one not asked.

Contrary Opinion On Bacon

Yup, I'm often the contrarian.

When I first started thinking about the positive and negative aspects of food, maybe in my twenties, bacon was at the top of my list of things not to eat. I was also getting into environment pollution, what was poisonous or hazardous, etc.

1) bacon is mainly animal fat. Most pollutants like pesticides, plasticizers, hormone mimics, antibiotics, etc. concentrate in the fat of animals because the chemicals dissolve better in oil than in water.

2) Mammal (at least feed lot fed or corn fed) fats are also bad to eat because the fats (fatty acid molecules) irritate, cause inflammation, contribute to fatty deposits, etc. in various parts of the body, as in arterial sclerosis. The various fats that do this are in the saturated fat category. OTOH, many fish fats help rather than hurt one's body.

3) bacon was, at least, preserved with nitrites than combine with amines, from amino acids (protein components) in ones stomach to make carcinogenic chemicals. I don't know if nitrates are still used.

4)bacon is usually fried until parts of it, at least, are brown. Fried foods are bad partly because the high temperatures convert fats, proteins, nitrites, etc. into all kinds of harmful chemicals.

I also stopped eating sausage and "lunch meats" preserved with nitrites and loaded with fat. When these are fried, I suspect that they are as hazardous as fried bacon.

In my thirties, I had some melanoma removed from my back. I know melanomas occur because of sun exposure and genetics, but I increased my efforts not to eat things that might make cancers more likely to grow and spread. At that time, I also got into taking more (or a proper amount of) vitamins, minerals, etc. My dad's brother died of metastasized "malignant" melanoma.

Hugs and Bright Blessings,
Renee

just because

I know something is terribly bad for me, doesn't mean I can't love it anyways. Candy. Soda pop. Ice Cream. Bacon. Etc and so on... Lots of things that are really awful that I love to eat anyhow.

Abigail Drew.

You have obviously

never had a fried bologna sandwich. YUM. I eat very little prepared luchmeat myself, but more because of gout and cholesterol, and triglyceride problems. That was the first thing they forbid me to eat. Pork, (Bacon and sausage), was the next, and red meat the next. Oh well.

Like the motto says,

There's lots of room in a big closet. Come join us please. A good wolf is hard to...um,...well, you see, what I meant was... shoot! I forgot what it was.

I meet a young girl at the Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta Georgia, in 2009. She was a lovely person, and we talked for hours. She believed that she was species dysphoric, believing she was really a wolf. Didn't make any difference to me. The conference was, after all, all about acceptance and understanding.

Anyhoo, come join us. All are welcome to the family here. Yes, at times we typify the word dysfunctional, but isn't that true of all families?

Welcome hugs and love,
