I really don't know what started this, maybe reading a Julie O story, but I found myself wanting to go back and read "Zapped" by Bob Arnold. The more I thought about it the more I thought I owed it to Bob's memory. It had been a couple years since I read the story from beginning to end, but it is good to go back an re-experience the joy, hurt, sadness and adventure of Jen Stevens life.

Join me, if you will, on this trip of enlightenment and reflection. Bob was a big part of our family. You will find the story uplifting and in ways insightful. It is my suggested way to pay tribute to a wonderful individual. He would appreciate it.

As always,

Dru

That's Funny

That's funny I was looking through my boxes of old stories and pulled out a stack of Bob's stories to re-read and now you post this on the blog and yes he was a founding author in our community May his memory last for every REST IN PEACE BOB you are missed --RICHIE2

Zapped and born to race

Are both my fav's by bob. He may not have posted many stories but the few stories he did post where so amazing it's hard to believe they aren't real. He was a great person from what everyone has said about him sadly I never had the pleasure of speaking to him.

Still remember 'Bear' (no so

Still remember 'Bear' (no so sure about the title but the main character was nicknamed 'Bear'). Think it was the first one of Bob's I read about ... something like a dozen years ago.

Before My Time

Before My Time is the story you are after Kage.

Just found Chapter 4 on Sapphire's site.

As it is, I re-jigged my Book files and completed Zapped to Chapter 22 and the Lost Files.
Erin, If you want the Zapped ebooks for posting, let me know.

How very odd,

Dru, thanks..

Thank you for pointing out this truely great classic, I'm really enjoying reading this for the first time and at the same time saddened to think that bob's no long around to receive these accolades..... Taarpa

But at the same time,

he is also no longer around to yearn and pine for something he could only dream and write about. He is in a place beyond gender, now, a place most likely beyond misery and suffering. It is a place where I wish I could be, sooner than later.
