A new book on 'Fanny' and 'Stella' two young men who were arrested for being dressed as women created a sensation in Victorian England. This article by the Daily Wail is reasonably sympathetic and has some photos not in the book - how do I know? I received a copy from Amazon on Thursday.

Amazingly for the DM, even the comments were supportive (and those that weren't red arrowed to death). Several pointed out an interesting editorial error though:

...that on StorySite, author Hebe Dotson set most of her stories in an a midwestern American suburb called Boulton Park. (I happened to look it up online because it sounded like someplace I'd driven through on vacation. The author said that no one else had commented on it.)
