With only ten more episodes to go to the 2000 I feel it incumbent upon me to ask the readers if they want me to continue this saga for a bit longer, assuming the indulgence of Erin and her pixies, in supporting the proposition.

Please let me know what you'd like me to do.

Bike Here After

The choice of continuing Bike after 2000 is up to the writer of the best serial story here, but since you want us to vote on that I say: More and More - never ending as long as your willing to give us more if ever wants or feels that their is no more to give us then you should stop.

Countdown to 2000

Well, 2000 is not soooo special...
The next real interesting number is 3333 ;-)

Martina

Please continue on

I love BIKE
As far as I am concerned, BIKE can continue forever and ever.

To be honest...

To be honest, it's really up to you.

It IS one of the few things I'm still reading here... And well worth the read! But, if you feel like you don't want to spend the time any more and/or don't have anything more to deal with in the story I do understand.

But,to be clear, as long as new episodes keep showing up... Dealing with real issues like they have and are currently... And are written to your standard... and we know you still find some pleasure in writing them... Then I'd love for this saga to continue!

Countdown to 2000

I have been reading bike from day one and I always feel the day is not complete if I don't have an episode of Bike to read before I go to bed
but the decision to carry on or not is up to you Ang I would like you to carry on if you feel up to it

My day is not complete until I have

...had a chance to check in with Cathy and her brood. As long as you are enjoying this wondrous story, I shall be patiently awaiting the next episode. Ang, you are one of those writer whose work I would read till the end of time. You, Bev, Anne McCaffrey and now her son, and Radclyfe, my ultimate Lesbian storyteller

With gratitude and awe,
Gyda diolch ac arswyd

2000?

Please, don't stop this wonderful serial story. I know that it's difficult to maintain the energy needed to continue developing the plot, ensuring consistency, writing the episode and sumbitting it. But, I am greedy. I love it! To end this story would be a trauma ... a death in my psychic family.

Please, pretty please, keep writing As Easy as Falling off a Bike. I need my Daily Dormouse!

Continue with Bike or not.

From a purely selfish point of view please continue. This series has become a daily staple in many readers lives and is looked foreward to with eager anticipation.Should you feel it has run its course and need to stop then do what you must.Thank you for all your efforts which have kept me going over a difficult few years. Thanks in anticipation.

Up to you.

It's up to you ang,if ya wanna continue or not. But I for 1 would <3 to see it continue.

I look forward to each new

I look forward to each new episode of Bike; It makes my evening complete. So as long as you get some pleasure out of writing it, do continue!

Kris

{I leave a trail of Kudos as I browse the site. Be careful where you step!}

I personally I think you

I personally I think you could keep the story going at least around the time Trish is graduating from an University.

Hugs,
Andrea

It isn't really a vote...

...it is up to you.

But if you stopped I would miss it, I read it every day. There are still so many avenues and themes to complete, so many unanswered questions.

Bike Continuing

You have already provided a surfet of entertainment that I hesitate asking for more. However I would like to see how the children (especially Mima) turn out. So as a member of the Canadian continget, I politely say YES PLEASE. Another Brian

To Bike, or Not To Bike

That is the question. Like all the others above, I look forward to my daily dose of Bike.

Personally I really want you to continue the story. Just tell your muse point blank that your readers want this wonderful saga to continue.

But, as someone once said, "all good things must come to an end," then all I ask is that you do so neatly and cleanly, with the help of Bonzi, Izzy, the Shekinah, Simon and all the kids, Tom, David, and on and on. It won't be easy.
You could, of course, just make it a weekly episode. That would make it "The Weekly Dormouse."

But the ultimate decision is yours. If you end it, then how? If not, then how do I continue?

Either way, but it will difficult to withdraw from this addiction.

Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?

Katrina Gayle "Stormy" Storm

Absolutely!

Of course we want you to continue! That's a fairly stupid question, lol. This has been an outstanding series and I look forward to you continuing it.

Please don't let us down.

To continue or not

The answer is "OF COURSE"
Bike was the first story that I read when I first found BC.
Since then I have looked forward to my daily bike fix.
Keep going till your muse decides that enough is enough, around the 10,000
mark I hope.

On The Grounds That...

On the grounds that:

a) You're hardly a one-trick pony. You've demonstrated a wide variety of plot ideas, characters, and writing styles over the years. You're creative, industrious, and like to play around with new ideas, and new twists on very old ones. I have a number of favorites among your "lesser" stories.

b) You've written one of the most awesome, long-running daily soap operas of all time, in any medium.

c) You've succeeded wildly beyond any original dream of "seeing if you can just write a little chapter every day."

and most importantly,

d) Nobody ever listens to me anyway.

I'm going to recommend that you wrap it up. They all live happily/mysteriously/complicatedly/ecologically/wealthily ever after. You bask in your glory and wait a few milliseconds until the next inspiration strikes and then feel free to plough right in with a brand new... well, whatever it turns out to be. A short story, a novel, or another eternal serial epic.

Whatever you write, I'm planning on reading it!

(By the way... One of the things I would look forward to is the later Adventures of Trish, when she's an adult, something I'm not willing to wait another 12 years to read.)
