This will be my last post as OddPOV. I am updating my user name to match my new self, it will be some variation of Wendy. We tell our loved ones we don't change to comfort them with our new selves. The core remains, the soul if you will, but the fact is we do change, a lot. I have.

What prompted this? I am actively working on a name/gender marker change. It would have been a done deal if they could read my fingerprints. Apparently I am one of those folks with very faint prints, I have made multiple cards at several police stations, and still they reject them, both DPS and the FBI. Maybe 3rd time will be a charm.

For folks in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or the surrounding territory GEAR (the local Dallas TG support group, Gender Education, Advocacy, and Resources) has started a new legal program run by a local attorney volunteer. She will help folks with any legal issues, there are still fees but they are negotiable. GEAR also offers several scholarships every year for medical, or name/gender change, or voice lessons. It pays to get active in this group is you are in need, and it costs nothing. PM me for more details if you are interested.

Sir, we are sorry,

but we will need to come back down to the station. It appears that your fingerprints were too faint to read properly, as the closest match is that of a female assasin wanted by Interpol for questioning in the murders of 27 people in 19 countries.

Sir?

Are you still there?

We can send a patrol car to give you a ride...

Crafty title...

While technically true, you may be gathering a lot of readers worried you (as in the person behind the pseudonym) were going to leave BCTS.

Meanwhile, feint fingerprints - it would be interesting to see if you'd have problems with the fingerprint recognition software on a certain fruity company's latest phone, which claims to read subdermally (and has already had people testing it and finding it's possible to register other parts of the body, or even their cat's pawprints [although I can't imagine many cats being patient enough to use a Smartphone]!)... :)

As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!

How will we possibly

How will we possibly recognize you if you're no longer OddPOV, but OddWendy :P?

Well, I hope you'll tell whatever new user name you choose.
