Ever have one of those days where you just want to slam your head into the wall? The past few weeks I've been running around trying to find another job since Home Depot fired me over injuring myself in an incident I could not avoid. when the incident happened I informed a manager as soon as I realized something was wrong and 4 days later I was fired. that was nearly a month ago.
Now last week I was at school getting lunch before class and for the first time in months I was sirred by one of the lunch staff. I tried to correct them but they were adamant. and the whole thing went from just a simple correction to me running out of there bawling because this was done infront of several people.

If that wasn't enough my sister is trying to worm her way into my life again and I don't know why. and now I'm in the middle of a 3 way war between her, my father, and Josh who is a friend of my sister's.... if I didn't have a final today I'd just go back to bed....

Yes, I have had several of

Yes, I have had several of those type of days. Just try to calm yourself and it will work itself out. My shoulder is always here for you to lean on.

I dunno

I don't know your circumstances, can you complain to the school admin about the behavior of the lunch staff? It sounds as if this person was making a deliberate attempt to humiliate you, possible due to their religious beliefs. In and of itself that sort of behavior needs to be called out. Then there is the relief of some of the stress that is getting you down.

Being fired for an on-the-job injury should make you eligable for some state and federal benefits as well as unemployment pay I would think, and much would come from Home Depot's coffers. If they protest then they have to show why you were terminated. That can bring about some interesting results. Retain a good shark, that is a good personal injury lawyer, and sic them on the company.

Family relations I can't help you with. I don't deal with mine anymore. The only reason I haven't shot them all is due to the shortage of ammunition and resulting high replacement cost of the expended rounds.

I went outside once. The graphics weren' that great.

Being 'sirred'

No. Never. Not acceptable. The last time it happened to me (wearing skirt and kitten heeled slingbacks, no less) my reaction was "Sir?"

I got the apology, but I also made the point of explaining to the lad in question. I have often stated that I do not 'get' crossdressing. That is an observation, not a judgement. Mt clothes follow my gender rather than my preferences. That being said, I can see why someone might 'sir' me. If, having been given the explanation I describe, they continue...

Then another job is the only option I can see for them.

In their case: fuck'em.

If you did you'd have a headache as well!

I can't comment on employment law, presumably in the US, because it will be different to UK & European law, but it sounds as if they terminated you for specious reasons. The person in the lunch queue needs to be spoken to preferably by her boss, that was both uncalled for and unhelpful, if not illegal - depending upon your state laws etc. (No wonder cowboys used to shoot each other it was easier than dealing with different states).

As for your sister trying to get back into your life, I can't comment other than having a vague recollection of you blogging about her being unhelpful before. Do you have to become involved in the crossfire between the three others? Might be advisable to keep your head down until that's over and shoot the winner.

Good luck with all your travails, I'm sure you'll come through it eventually.
