Blog About:

My cat, Muffin, died yesterday morning from complications of cancer. She not only owned me. She owned others in the Evil Witch/Little Kids Kamp family including Holly Hart, Maggie the Kitten and Debby Bishop (the superintendent of the Little Kids Kamp schools). She was a very loving cat. She loved to climb anything she could reach. She will be sorely missed.

Notes:
I still sometimes think I hear her meow.
She was one of the ancestors of the sabertooth cat (Felix incisor) at Little Kids Kamp.

your sad news. As I write this, Whizz is sat on my shoulder chewing my hair - don't you just love 'em?

There is still...

... Spirit of my cat roaming home of my parents. Almost 10 years passed since she had gone to the happy hunting grounds. But still sometimes you can see a shadow prowling in the periphery of your vision.
Don't be sad. She lived a full and happy life with lots of adoring human subjects. You just have to go for adoption by another cat.

Wish I Could

You said, "You just have to go for adoption by another cat." But I am in poor heath and living alone. So, it would be cruel if I was to take another little friend in. Besides, I would take two so that they could have a companion when I am not at home.

Sorry to hear that. You will

Sorry to hear that. You will hear her for a while. I slept every night with my Siamese cat nestled in the curve of my legs, when she died I felt that weight there for months and thought she was still with me.

Our furry friends

take a piece of us when they go. I still miss our Zoey and it's been almost 10 years. I couldn't count the times that I woke up with her purring in the crook of my arm. I really feel for your loss.

Biggest and most gentle of hugs.

Pet?

Cats are no more pets than I am a canary. In their world, there is Your Highness and then the rest of us.

Best,

Sorry to hear.

It's hard, they become part of us, and are as much family as anyone else in our lives. I still miss my kitty, sometimes I think I can still feel him jump up on to the bed.

I feel my shit-tzu/schnauzer mix

Jumping up on the bed, moving around, curling up in a favorite spot on the bed, moving around again then jumping off the bed only to hear her bark once a little later to alert me she is going to get on the bed again. The really odd thing is this: she is 14 years old, very active and playful when awake, and she is sleeping on her bed (she shares her queen bed with me), and is usually curled up sound asleep, dreaming and snoring close enough to me that we are aware of each other's presence when this happens.. Weird, or what??? Have any others had similar experience with your pet?
This could be a thread to treat as new, or just to continue as is, but I am curious, so come all y'all (all y'all is the plural of y'all, and means EVERONE OF ALL Y'ALL ), tell your stories.

Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?
