Hi everyone,
I thought I would post an update on my recent missed commit for part 5 of my story. Work has been keeping me occupied to the point that I have only been able to write 2 1/2 chapters of this part. But it is going to be delayed a while longer. Today, on a rare day off, I decided to borrow my brother's atv and go out riding with my ten year old nephew and 17 year old adopted brother. Needless to say, I am having a difficult time writing this blog one handed. While riding, I hit a ditch that caused the atv to swing 90 degrees in the direction I was traveling. Needless to say, my left arm was still connected to the handle bars and the momentum and force shattered my left wrist. I will have to see a hand specialist on Monday where it is more than likely that I will have to have surgery on my arm to repair the damage that was done. I am in a lot of pain at the moment as I won't be able to get the pain meds filled until morning. I do apologize for the delay and hopefully as I recupe from the surgery, I can do the one handed typing bit and finish part 5. But more than likely, it will still be delayed a while. Take care everyone, especially on an atv. Those things are potentially dangerous as well as deadly. I am just glad I am able to be here to write this. It could have turned out much worse than it did.

Soonest. Broken bones begin to knit immediately. If you wait till Monday they may well need to re-break the wrist to set it! This is not pleasant. For my foot which I broke in the 70s and didn't know it for five days, they gave me a shot then hit the foot with a big padded hammer to break loose the partially knitted bones. Go to a doctor, tonight if you can! My foot is hurting right now from the memory of it!

Hours in the hospital already

Erin,

The incident occurred this afternoon at about 3:00 (mountain time) and I was at the instacare by 5:30 and I was on my way to the big emergency room by 6:15. The doctor there said that the joint at the top of the forearm bones has been shattered but there is no available doctor until Monday. They will have to open the arm up to repair things anyway. There are a lot of tiny bone fragments in the break that will have to be removed before the break can heal right. As it sits, no matter what happens, they will have to probably re-break it to get it fixed.

Well, let's hope they don't use a hammer. :) That's a bad spot for a break, the wrist end is less trouble if it doesn't heal quite straight.

Carefu hugs,
- Erin

Only one good hand, yikes!

Buttons, hooking a zipper, fumbling for keys in the dark, opening anything and so one ... life will be a pain -- pun intended -- for some time.

No, John, resist. You are better than that, John, NOOOO!

"I bet it will be difficult reading Porn online. Nudge nudge wink wink, say no more!"

Damn, this will take a whole crate of soap to wash out my mouth.

difficult reading of porn?

Sorry to say John, but the most difficult thing about that subject is actually reading it at all. I like a good sex scene like everyone but all out pornography, turns me off quicker than a light bulb burning out. As it is, using one hand to type is rather slow and time consuming. I would much rather have both in working condition which would mean that I could work at work instead of being someone who just collects a paycheck for being injured. I don't like pain at all. I got a good laugh about this situation this morning. I got to thinking about the pain and how much of it there was when I realized that the worst pain I had in my life before this was when I had my SRS years ago and I had breast implants done. The implants hurt worse than the actual SRS did. The genital region had a vibration from the nerve disruption that felt like I had a cat purring on my lap. A friend told me that my p***y was content so it was purring. If I hadn't felt like I had a Mack truck run over my chest, I would have laughed. This time though, I hurt worse than I ever have in my life. I know I'll eventually get over it, but I will still have to deal with it. I'll make do as best as I can, but it will be a pain, in the mean time. (pun intended)
