Is anyone else having all stories come 0 words (no body of the story)?

I got a 503 error

But I can pull up stories. Perhaps someone posted on that didn't make it through or try clearing the history and try again.

fixed

It's fixed now, but I checked a number of stories before posting.

I almost thought it was a

I almost thought it was a title to what could be an interesting story "0 (zero) words"

I may need to take that title

I thought it was an author

trying to write a story. Sitting there with a blank sheet of paper (OK, a blank document) waiting for the words to start flowing from her fingers into the keyboard. Her Muse has left the building.

gee, I have the opposite problem. . .

Lots of words. They just don't seem to go together or worse? They paint me into the 'no way happy endings coming out this mess' corner which violates tigger author primary order number 1. We shall serve no story before it's happy, at least at the end.

Muse continues to be grumpy.

OK you called dibs first

Otherwise I got an idea for a VERY silly story. Hm ...after thinking about it I've come to the conclusion it was a good thing someone did call dibs first :)

As for absconding muse: I never had that problem. It may be because I never write anything until said muse brings out the whip.

My problem is like yours.

I had to log out to get the story to show up.

Logged out and then story. Will try it again next time and see if that logging out is the fix.

Synch problem

erin's picture

We use multiple servers in delivering BCTS. Sometimes they get out of synch and we have this or one of several other problems. It usually clears up by itself but occasionally Piper needs to reboot one of the servers.

We're working on solving the synch problems but it looks like it is caused by the amount of traffic we get on our elderly servers. Not all the traffic is people, a lot is bots and reapers and script kiddies. Friday to Sunday are especially bad on this sort of bad behavior.

Bad guys like these are the ones who bring down large corporations and government entities. We keep re-tuning the firewalls to keep out illegitimate traffic but the bastards are adaptable and we are a very small shop.

Hugs,
Erin

Zero Words

I had this happen about two weeks ago with one chapter in one of Bailey Summer's stories, but it fixed itself a few hours later.

Tonight was the first time I've seen it since then, I've been going through Angela Rasch's stories, rereading some, reading ones I hadn't seen already, and while doing so, I had five stories in a row all come up as having zero words in them.

I decided to leave the stories alone for a while, came back to the first of the five just now, and the page is showing perfectly.
