Renee MacInnis's male name is

Renee MacInnis's male name is René, after Decartes the philosopher and mathematician.

Thank You

Thank you times one googleplex!

I, for only one, hope you live 10 000 years, so we'll have a really great story to read in our next incarnation!

Sorry, i wanted to note something interesting (to me, at least): Dan studies Judo -- Dan is a grade in Judo. Sophia -- Goddess of Wisdom

Another Mistake

Sorry but another Mistake you seem to keep making is with Lewis and Brian where Brain becomes the condutor after the concert but during the concert you have Lewis doing it. you go back an forth through out the Story but the big one you should spot it in is Part 42 and part 43.

Karen, I knew it

Julia IS dad, I guessed it long ago.

While I wait

While I am waiting Karen I am curious if you are going to send more of your chapters over to places like Fictionmania.

Update please

Hi Karen
First off let me say how much I am enjoying this story, but are we going to see an update of the Character list. As I see that in Part 27 Emma has taken part in A Mix up Monday with the male name of Ian, and is Anna's male alias Alan or Adam.

Sorry

Sorry but I feel that this needs to be updated a bit due to a few of the other stories you allowed in this universe that you have created. An it is such a wonderful universe still I would love to know all the players in the Verse so could you please update this?

re: Update

It is Alan. Adam was the boy who got arrested in part 10. There is a mistake in one of the later chapters with the name, but it is published on serveral sites so will stay as an ooops. It will be updated when I do a review at the end of the story. I try to keep the online copies in sync.

Hugs

Karen

Another update

Another update that I see is an area for the transfer students. Though this is merely a suggestion. That I think would be nice to have.

A strange attraction..

if you had to guess then i'm guessing you haven't read a strange attraction to concrete cows yet, the prequal to a new style of education.

A really good prequal too :)

Love,
Amber

--edit-- This is obviously in reaction to the comment about julia.. i could've sworn i replied to that comment, but it appears a comment later:shrugs:

Unfortunately, there are problems with your suggestion, Rena

Raised in SLC/Educated in the Hills', Penny's story, and you can use that for the visitors from Immigration Manor.

As far as Annette's story, 'Hidden Gifts', it is a fanfic, not part of the 'canon'.

This means that she can use the universe, but write a story that has characters, plots or scenes not in the more rigidly structured canon stories, and that conflict with the canon universe in one or more ways.

I am one of the editors of all three current stories. Annette, Hidden Gifts author, Penny, Karen, and Joni also write and/or edit them. One thing I try to watch out for is that the extra characters in Hidden Gifts do not sneak into Penny's story or Karen's by accident, since we all work with all the stories.

In a way, I'm sorry the differences are there, but for Annette's story she had to introduce some characters that are not in the same class ( after moving up to a different year), and some new counselors/psychiatrists, not found in Karen's story.
If Annette had chosen to place her story in a new school, other than Immigration Manor or Hayfield Hall, the story is well written enough to to be canon.
Karen's story, and I believe, Penny's has left the door open for other SPA schools, specifically mentioning that there are others, and even naming at least one, though there is no posted stories for it ... yet.

re: Hidden Gifts IS cannon

Hi

Hidden Gifts is as Cannon as the other two stories. I have gone to great lengths talking with Annette to make sure that it all matches up to the universe. She has different doctor and psychiatrist, but there are reasons for that due to the timeline from Planes. The three authors do chat to each other and we sometimes do get quite frank about certain issues and it isn't just me giving out stick. I had one of the other authors very concerned about one of my chapters and I rewrote the whole thing.

OOPS, my bad, Karen P

I thought Annette herself had told me it was fanfic, not canon.
No wonder I haven't seen any names that didn't fit ...
Thanks for setting me straight, Karen

I hadn't gotten this updated list. My Bad

Fictionmania

Hi,

I am waiting for them to publish the rest of the chapters I sent them, and then I will send more. They must have one heck of a backlog as it was ages ago. There is another chapter with the proofers. I have also been doing some later parts of the story to make sure it all links - I've even done a bit of aNSoE Y5.

Regards

Karen

Who's who?

Wow, if only the next chapter arrived as quickly.

Thanks Karen, that will be a big help in understanding who's who.

Not necessary

Annette,

Since both Karen and yourself are working in the same setting I would just get Karen to add your new characters to this list. Saves having multiple lists with unnecessary redundancy. Maybe for Immigration Manor it might be a nice idea for Penny to do one of these if she hasn't already done so.

Arwen

Is it really necessary?

I mean, do you really want to know who's who? Hee, hee.

For anyone who hasn't seen it before, Heather Rose Brown did a wonderful little thing for Karen and I.

Click on the link in the TopShelf title bar for 'Serials.'
Then scrowl down until you find "Education in the Hills."
That's the link to my title page, open that.
The first item on the list is the "Immigration Manor PDA," that my talented little sister created, thanks again sis.
There have been one or two minor changes since that was done, but not too many.

I hope that helps everyone.

I Find it Helpful

I know I would find it helpful and I like how you did yours Penny. Makes me wish that I actually had a PDA like the one that you use for you character list. I like knowing who I am dealing with or why they would have left if they really have left. It would help me out a lot. I always find it easier to follow along with this info I love surprises but at the same time after the surprise I may forget about stuff so that's why I would love for it to be updated with everything.
