Yesiree! :)

And I think Andrea likes writing musical odes :)

As for me, I may not be an author (it would take me forever to move beyond a basic plot outline - let alone attempt to compete with the outstanding talent we have here [and no, I'm not exaggerating!]), but I read a heck of a lot, vote on pretty much everything I read, sprinkle a liberal dose of comments around and write the occasional blog entry.

And yet the phenomenal amount of reading I've done here has barely scratched the surface of what's available, and I do somehow have to squeeze a few hours sleep and a job into my daily schedule of catching up here!

So I'd like to agree whole heartedly with Andrea's verse and thank Erin for hosting this site, Erin, Sephrena and a few others for managing it, all the authors for writing such brilliant stories, all the editors for gently tweaking them into shape, Sephrena again for publishing some stories on behalf of authors - and also for republishing 'archived' stories (well, a combination of stories posted here a few years ago and on 'Classic' even earlier), my fellow readers for voting, commenting, and otherwise making the authors feel valued...

...and before this turns too much into an unintentional parody of an award acceptance speech, everyone for putting up with my inane comments :)

Thanks! That was very cute.

I would've liked to see you fit in more names - since you added some, others might feel slighted - but I liked it a lot.

Keep scribblin', girl!

...I love everyone here, writers, editors, proofreaders, administrators, and of course, readers. This might not make it okay, but I do think you're adorable....I actually thought almost of copying the list on the right...sort of like the credits to a movie. But truly, I value each and everyone hear...you all have been a blessing to me! Thanks again!

Well Andrea you got me thinking. I love this site too. It seems like there's
something for everyone here at Bigcloset Topshelf, and-

What's that music? What didja say? You want me to sing it?
Gee, I'm no Zero Mostel, but all right (clears throat):
.

Something transgender,
Something transcendant,
Something for everyone:
At BigCloset tonight!

Something quite bubbly,
Something most troubling,
Something for everyone:
At BigCloset tonight!

Historical dramas,
Second-chance mamas,
Drea's song parody delights;
Real life tomorrow,
Bigcloset tonight!

Something for lurkers,
Three-hanky tearjerkers,
Something for everyone:
At BigCloset tonight!

Something bathotic,
Something erotic,
Something for everyone:
At BigCloset tonight!

Argumentive polemical comments? Noooooooo!
Save it for the Jerry Springer Show!

Something quite freindly,
Something forced-femly,
Something for everyone:
At Bigcloset tonight!

Workplace situations,
Lost luggage vacations
Something for everyone,
At Bigcloset Tonight!

Re-issued classics,
Cliff-hanging antics,
Transformed by lightningbolts or nanites;
Real life tomorrow,
Bigcloset tonight!

Stunning blondes!

Hapless pawns!

Frolicking cheerleaders!

Reforming wifebeaters!

Death and taxes!

Bikini Waxes!

Pierced ears!

Brassiers!

Mall shopping!

Ball lopping!

TS cops!
Body swaps!
Thespians!
Lesbians!

Oh goodness gracious,
This is outrageous-
At this rate I'm gonna be up reading these all night!
Back to the ol' grind tomorrow,
BigCloset tonight!

.
With apologies, but once one of these gets going in my head the only way to get
rid of it is to knock out a rudimentary draft. Kinda OCD-ish that way...

What truly great song

What truly great song parodies. I wonder if there is a "call out there" for a CD of TG themed songs? Would be rather cute I do believe.
Although I feel readers, such as myself, are important to the authors as we give them the audience they need to be fulfilled as authors; I also know and understand that overall, we play a small part in the greater scheme. As my working life only required me to write investigative reports or "White Papers", and various college papers; I know I was never cut out to be a story author.
So I place myself as a person who simply loves to read the stories, fictional and non-fictional and then comment on them as I best I can. I do enjoy the responses I many times get/got back directly from such lovely authors as Andrea, Stanman63, Nancy Cole, Angharad, and yes, even our beloved departed Teddi. I am not trying to slight any other authors by not mentioning them by name, just too many list everyone. You are all fabulous.
I do treasure these responses as I treasure those who send them. Thank you all so very much for all that you do for the rest of us and the wonderful talents you present us. Hugs to you all, Janice Lynn

I was so tired yesterday when I read the first line

Andrea Lena's picture

...and I wondered why you would ask the question. Of course, I thought, there are plenty of cross-dressers who write TG themed songs and then this morning I realized you meant compact disk.

Love this site

Drea, you maniac! I loove the way you do your words to songs thingy and this one is no exception. If anything, it's kind of upbeat and playful. Brava!

Mea the Magnificent

BTW I love your look in long hair. :)

'Drea, I Agree

With you about this site. Erin and her administrators have created a true FAMILY T.G. Site and haven for us. But I also plead with everybody to visit Stardust at leat once a day and support Bob Arnold by leaving comments on stories there that are hee, too.

On another topic...sort of

After visiting a number of other sites with similar themes, I personally (and not humbly) think that this site rulZ!!! Aside from the occassional thumb sucker with something to push or a rare blood clot with some news from the wild kingdom, I think that the people posting and commenting here are the most sensitive and supportive people on line (myself excluded...of course). Oh...be sure to read "The Gift".

Mea

Love the song, love the new hair!

You keep one step ahead of us all, 'Drea, ... and you give us music to dance to.... so kind!
