Laddie-Gurl Comics covers (Fan fiction: Pamela Sue's Ladd's Exchange Mall)

Printer-friendly version

This isn't really a story. I do a lot of TG modified comics covers (Found at Femur's TGcaps site: http://www.tgcaps.com/caps/) and after reading Pamela Sue's Ladd's Exchange Mall series I created a comic six issue mini-series: Laddie-Gurl Comics: Tales from the Ladd's Exchange Mall (Where boys will be gurls ... whether they like it or not)

Issue # 1, "Let's Pretend"

Original: I Love You comics #85

This LEM mom is a saint compared to the majority, who are REALLY sadistic!

2 - SMILE ... or else!

Original: The Country Gentleman magazine cover, 06/1931

Convincing the victim that his plight is his own fault, no matter how much more severe it is than whatever he did, is a standard brainwashing technique.

3 - Pink Failed!

Original: Thanks to Lorna Samuels

I was listening to "The Wall" when I saw this at Lorna's TGcaps page. As I read Pamela Sue's story, this is what I wish would happen just once, and wonder why it or something like it hasn't.

4 - Pi R screwed
LADDIE-GURL4.jpg
Original: Police Detective Cases magazine 08/1947

In the LEM universe, being a normal boy is a crime, so any excuse to feminize a boy - for "her" own good, of course - is accepted.

5 - Body betrayal
LADDIE-GURL5.jpg
Original: Love Romances comics #25

A LEM success story.

6 - Project G.U.R.L.
LADDIE-GURL6.jpg
Original: Femforce comics #64

Giantesses Unleashed (to) Recruit Lotharios. Short on practicality but long on fantasy. Lots of wet panties around the LEM boardroom table when this gets brought up!

END (for now?)

Clever

There was a lot of thought in these. Excellent job! Brought back some memories of the comics I was forbidden to read in the 1950's.

Maybe if more "men" had a taste of

estrogen therapy, this would be a better world all around. Instead of wars we would have sewing circles, tea~n~scones (Devenshire tea), and maybe, just maybe we could put a stop to war. Wouldn't that be nice? Boys are made of snails and puppy dog tails, but girls are made of sugar and spice and all things nice. Heehee. I love this. GIRL POWER!!!

Irony

The most ironic thing of all is that that image of women is founded by the patriarchy, so by turning these kids into demure little girls, they are aiding the image that women are seen as weak and cant be independent or strong. Essentially mew, they've become their own hated stereotype How about them apples Lydia :P

Transgender, Gamer, Little, Princess, Therian and proud :D

I have the same thoughts, you know

It came from skimming through Randa's Stark stories. What set me off was the irony that females of Soociety that remade Stark, their actions were described as 'breaking the males and making a mockery of females from them', or something along those lines. The irony as I saw it could be described with the following:
"You break men, but their final image is degoratory to women and not to men."

However, I must point out that these 'demure little girls' are definitely more than that. Cases in point:
Tammy the shop assistant - enjoys outfitting new petticoaties
Ladd's heir (sorry forgot the name) - easily made a point to Lydia about the best candidate for the club manager position
Dani and Danielle - pulled the guys Dani once knew with hardly any effort on their part

So they are not incompetent in the least, the manners that were drilled in them, all that mindscrew was not made to dumb them down, and they are more than willing to use the image they project to cover their own actions and the like. Think of it as of a form of social mimicry.
