Hi. My name is Brian, or it was Brian. It’s now Brianna. And, this little story is of the changes that have occurred in my life.

When I was young, I was confused as to who I was. I was a boy, but liked to play and look like a girl. I use to wrap a towel around my waist and pretend it was a skirt. When we played house, I wanted to be the mother. And, I had an aunt who was gorgeous and I wanted to be just like her.

I was small for a boy and got picked on constantly. Even getting beat up a few times by guys who said I looked more like a girl then a boy.

I use to sneak my mother’s things and try them on. When I did, it felt so right. I wanted to dress in them all the time. I wanted to be a girl. My parents didn’t see my problem. Actually no one did. My dad use to punish me every time I got caught with my mom’s things, and my mom wasn’t any help. All she’d say was, “Brian. You’re a boy and boys don’t wear girls’ clothes.”

I suffered until I was out of high school. Fortunately I was fairly smart, in fact I got a full ride scholarship to a well-known university. And, it was there that my life changed.

There was a freshman psychology class that everyone had to take, and one of the things covered was gender identity disorder. Basically it was people who experience significant gender confusion or who were unhappy with the sex they were born with. And, this got me thinking.

I spent time in the university library and on-line researching gender identity disorder. And, the more I read, the more I realized I was a girl in a boy’s body. One of the things that was mentioned in almost every article I read, was that I should see a counselor who had a background on gender disorders.

This university has a very good psychology department. So, the first thing I did was check the on-line faculty directory and see if any of the faculty in the psychology department had a background in gender disorders. And, there was no mention of it. So, I called the psychology department and asked if any of the faculty did counseling for gender identity disorder, and before I hung up I had an appointment to see a Dr. Diana L'Anglois at the end of the following week.

You know the old saying, that time drags when you are waiting for something to happen. Well drag it did, it was like it was almost standing still.

Finally I was in Dr. L'Anglois office for our first meeting. She walked out of her office door, and I was struck by her beauty. She was prettier than my pretty aunt. She was tall, maybe five-ten or eleven. Very well dressed, in a long dark skirt and very pretty blouse. Perfect makeup, which made her dark eyes stand out. Her hair was black and done in a very pretty chin length layered bob styled. She wore a number of rings. And, had a very pretty choker around her neck.

That first meeting lasted an hour, and I felt very comfortable with her. I took a number of tests and we met every week for the next two months. On our last meeting she told me that she though she could help me be who I was supposed to be, and that she also though that I was someone very special.

What she said that she could do was something very special, and that she’d like to meet with me at her house. I thought that this was a little strange, but since I felt very comfortable with her I agreed to it

On Friday evening I arrived at her house. Like a lot of the homes that the faculty lived in, it was an older home that looked like it had been completely renovated. I knocked on the door, and when she opened it, she greeted me with a smile. And, as usual she was very well dressed.

She invited me in, and I followed her into the livingroom. We sat and talked about nothing for a few minutes, then she said, “Brian. During our meetings I’ve learned a lot about you. As you knew, you are a transsexual. A girl in a boy’s body. You have been very uncomfortable with this. There is only one treatment for this, and that is for you to become a girl.

“You have some decisions to make. But, I feel I know the answers. Do you want to be a girl?”

Without hesitation, I replied, “Yes.”

She smiled, and asked, “How soon do you want to do this?”

“Yesterday wouldn’t have been soon enough.”

“Do you trust me?”

“Yes. Why wouldn’t I?”

“I have helped a number of people like you. But, I do it in a special way.”

“A special way?”

“Yes. I have some special powers. And, I have used them to help others become who they should be. Not just boys becoming girls. But, a few girls become boys.”

“Okay.”

“Are you willing to give up your past?”

“Give up my past?”

“Yes. When I help you change, your past will change. Your past life will no longer exist, it will be like you were born a girl, grew up a girl, and everyone will remember you only as a girl. Even your parents will remember that you were a girl. To begin with you will remember your past, but in a short time all you will remember is being a girl.”

“That doesn’t sound like anything that I’ve read about the sexual reassignment process?”

“It isn’t. Like I said, I do it in a special way.”

I sat there and looked at her for a minute, then asked, “How?”

She smiled, and just said, “With my special powers.”

“What special powers?”

“Promise me that you will hear me out?”

Again after a moment of thinking, I replied, “Yes.”

“My special powers are because I’m a witch. And, I’ve found the necessary spells to transform people into who they’re supposed to be. And, if you wish, I can do this for you while you’re here. I know you don’t believe in witches or that I’m one. No one does when I first tell them.

“I also know you have a very open mind. But, can also be very skeptical. It comes from your very scientifically oriented mind. So, I’m prepared to prove it to you.”

I looked at her, and just said, “A witch?”

“Yes. A witch. A good witch.”

I just shook my head, and said, “There is no such thing. Let alone a good one.”

She smiled, and said, “Yes there is. Do I need to prove it to you?”

I just nodded yes.

She got up and offered me her hand. I took it and stood. She then led me out to the back yard and to a secluded grassy area, behind a greenhouse, that was surrounded by a high hedge. After we’d walked through the opening, I sensed something behind me. I turned my head to look, and the opening that we had just walked through was gone.

Dr. L'Anglois looked at me and said, “Don’t worry Brian. This area is very secret and it’s just protecting itself.”

I thought, ‘Protecting itself?’

“Yes.”, she said, “From outsiders.”

‘She can read minds?’

“Yes. I can read minds.”

With that she waved her hand, and a circle of grass disappeared and a pentagram appeared where the grass had been. Then large flaming torches appeared in each corner of the area. She again looked at me, and said, “This is where the coven holds special ceremonies.”

“Coven?”

“Yes. There are currently thirteen members and we meet on an as needed basis. And, this is a special place for us. So, do you believe in witches now?”

I knew there was doubt in my mind. So did she, she smiled, and just said, “Ladies.”

Two female figures materialized, one on each side of her. Both wore long black robes with blood red linings, and had chokers matching the one Dr. L'Anglois was wearing. Then, Dr. L'Anglois said, “Brian. I’d like you to meet Danika and Keelie. They are two of the members of the coven.”

Both ladies smiled, and said, “Hello Brian.”

All I could do was stare, and think, ‘God. She is a witch.’

The lady on the left said, “Yes she is Brian. As are we all.”

I felt dizzy and blacked out. As I woke up, Dr. L'Anglois was kneeling beside me. She said, “I’m sorry Brian. I didn’t mean for this to happen.”

“That’s okay.”, I said, “I guess it was the surprise of realizing that you really are a witch.”

She smiled, and said, “I know. It can be a shock.”

“So, you can really help me.”

“Yes I can. But, I have another thing for you to decide.”

“Something more?”

“Yes. Lets go back into the house where we can sit and talk.”

As I got up, the opening in the hedge reappeared, and we walk through it. As we walked back toward the house, I looked over my shoulder and the opening was gone. We stopped in the kitchen and sat at the table.

We sat in silence for a minute or two, then Dr. L'Anglois said, “Do you remember when I said that I thought that you were someone special?”

“Yes.”, I replied.

“Do you know what I meant?”

“I don’ know. Maybe that I was special because I was transsexual.”

“You are. But, there’s something else.”

“Something else?”

“Yes. There is something about you that told me that you are special in other ways. I could change you into a nineteen-year-old girl, and you could go on about your life. But, there’s something else I’d like to do. If you are agreeable?”

“Something else?”

“Yes. I’m seeing something that leads me to think that you may be one of us.”

“One of us?”

“Yes. A witch. Every once in a while someone is born that has the special psyche to be a witch. Some never know it, some do and embrace it, and then there are the ones that one of us finds. The ones we find are given the option to join us and see what it takes to become a witch.

“So, here is my proposal. This house can be big and lonely. I’d like to make you my daughter. My sixteen-year-old daughter. Your old life will no longer exist. You will slowly forget Brian and only remember being my daughter Brianna. You will be schooled in the old religion and the art of witch craft.”

I just sat and stared at her. I was thinking, ‘Could she really do this? Do I want to do this? What if I didn’t want to?’ I knew she was reading my mind. Then I said, “So, I’d become your daughter and a witch. My old life would just go away.”

“Yes. You’d grow up here with me, complete high school, and go onto college. You’d want for nothing. And, you will learn the arts.

“You don’t have to make your decision now. You can make up your mind at any time. And, if you decide to not do this you will not remember any of it.”

I sat there in deep thought. And, I didn’t have to think long.

A few minutes later Dr. L'Anglois and I were walking back out to the secluded grassy area behind the greenhouse. The opening in the hedge was there, and it closed after we walked through it. The pentagram was there on the ground, the torches were burning, and Danika and Keelie were standing there next to the pentagram. Both of them were still dressed in the long black robes with a blood red lining. When I looked back at Dr. L’anglois, she was now wearing the black robe.

Dr. L'Anglois said, “Brian. I need to ask you again, do you want to become a girl?”

Without hesitation, I replied, “Yes.”

“And, do you want to become my daughter?”

Again without hesitation, I replied, “Yes.”

All three of them just smiled. Dr. L'Anglois walked over, and stood between Danika and Keelie. She looked at me, and said, “Brian. Please remove all of your clothes.”

I wasted no time in undressing. And, I didn’t feel embarrassed undressing in front of these three pretty women. When I was completely naked, Dr. L'Anglois said, “Brian. Please walk to the center of the pentagram and face me.”

As I walked into the pentagram, I felt a strange power. I stood in the middle of the pentagram and faced Dr. L'Anglois. She looked first at Danika and then at Keelie, and said, “Ladies.”

The two girls walked so that one was directly to my left and the other directly to my right at the outside edge of the pentagram. Then, Dr. L'Anglois said, “Brian. Are you ready to become a girl and my daughter?”

I just said, “Yes.”

Then the three of them started chanting something that I couldn’t understand. I felt like I was going into a trance. I could see and hear, but not talk or move. They continue to chant, and I felt things happening. I couldn’t tell what, but I knew my body was changing.

I don’t know how long that the chanting lasted, but when it ended I knew things were different. I was still looking at Dr. L'Anglois and she was smiling. She finally walked over to me, hugged me, and said, “Welcome Brianna.”

“Brianna?”, I asked, in a sweet feminine voice.

“Remember. That’s your new name. As your mother, I get to name you.”

I looked at her, smiled, and said, “Thank you mother.”

Danika and Keelie walked up to me. Danika was carrying a cape like the others were wearing, and she placed it around my shoulders. Covering my naked female body. She then hugged and kissed me on the cheek, and said, “Welcome sister.”

Keelie walked up to me, and placed a choker around my neck. She also hugged and kissed me, and said, “Welcome sister.”

I looked at Dr. L'Anglois, now my mother, and asked, “Sisters?”

She smiled, and said, “Yes sisters. Both, like you, were girls in a boy’s body. And, they came to me for help. I discovered, like you, that they were special. I offered them the same things I offered you, and they agreed. Both are now married and have families. But, are still members of the coven and practice the arts.”

I thought, ‘They were like me. And, now they have children?’

“Yes Brianna. You are completely a girl. You can become pregnant and give birth. So, you need to be careful. Most of what you need to know about being a girl you already do, and what you need to learn the three of us will teach you.”

Later that day, in my very feminine bedroom, I was able to examine my new body. Like I had wished many years ago, like my aunt, I was very pretty. I was tall for a sixteen-year-old girl. I had my new mothers black hair and dark eyes. I just loved my perfect figure, my nice breasts, and what was now between my legs made me smile.

I still had memories of Brian, but my memories of Brianna’s life were very clear. I was a junior in high school, I’d be seventeen in three months, I had a number of boy friends, and I had to remember to take my daily pill so I didn’t get pregnant. I also have two sisters that I love very much, each has a husband that I also love as brothers, and my nieces and nephews are wonderful.

My life as this girl, and witch, is going to be very interesting.

Hugs and kisses,

Brianna L'Anglois

Sweet though a little sad

It is a pity she had to give up all of her past and replace it with a largly false one.

It will make life easier but will the loss of who he was change who she is?

Her old life was a sad and painful one so she is much better off.

But that painful past could have been a counter to any feelings of superiority or even entitlement she developes as a gifted and stunningly attractive young witch.

And as to Witch Doctors, THIS was a number ONE Billboard hit in the USA when I was less than a year old and Ike was in his second term as President.

Hearing this on mom;s radio and on the catroons on TV as a little kid must have had an impression. Explains a alot about me.

Very nice, sad little story. Too bad he lost his whole past, like John said, but it may work out for the best in the long run. Thanks Teddie, it's good to see something from you.

In answer to John In Wauwatosa's comment, Witch Doctor

by David Seville & the Chipmunks was a very popular song and still one of my favorites. This story is something out of the ordianry. I agree that Brianna should not have lost her past completely, but maybe only the bad parts of it. Other than that, this is a very clever story and written very well. Thank you for sharing.

No. Just something

No. Just something interesting.

Teddie I am so glad that you

Teddie

I am so glad that you are still a part of our community! I've enjoyed your stories across the years and had wondered if we had read your last. I enjoyed this one also, though I really like your longer stories.

Thanks

Thanks Anastalya. I'm still

Thanks Anastalya. I'm still trying to wake my muse up. Maybe she's starting to stir. I hope.

Prices

First of all let me state I enjoyed the story.

But with every choice there is a price. Parenthood is not easy, full of mistakes, but it is a voluntary commitment. Evil was done to the former parents. Something was stolen, and something was lost. They may never notice it, but it is true none the less. Their world has less love, they may have even gotten a divorce, or died, or committed suicide for lack of something they can never name.

As I understand witchcraft all things come back to those who cast a spell, they may have granted a wish, but they may have also destroyed several lives in the process. They may have made mistakes, but the former parents tried, and it was their lives that were also stolen. Will this come back on the coven, or have they addressed it somehow?

Something to think about.

I know

It is a weakness of mine. I tend to really get into stories. I also like to think into the unexpected consequences. What is a gift to one may be a curse for another. This child was loved, and he threw away the love casually for something she needed. It occurred to me those who were left out, who may have had a single child who was the focus of their universe, were suddenly childless and not of their choosing.

So if good and evil are thrice returned, does this include the unintended consequences?
