Jaci and Dottie: Boy Trouble, Part 8

Dottie stood in her doorway in shock.

There, in front of her, was the young man who had danced the ballet with her, who had taken her to the movies, who had come to the hospital when she had a panic attack because he had tried to hold her hand.

Only he was in girl clothes.

“Robbie, what are you doing?”

“Can ... can I come in?”

“Okay, but I dont have a lot of time, Jaci is in trouble”

Once the Robbie stepped in, she said, “Now, what’s this about? Are you.... are you making fun of me? Cause if you are ...”

“I’m not! I... Look, Dottie. will you listen?”

Dottie folded her arms under her breasts, and said, “Okay. Spill.”

“Look. I like you. I like you a lot. But when I tried to take your hand at the theater, you freaked out so hard you ended up in the hospital. I ... I know you got really hurt by a man, so I thought that maybe if I looked like a girl you wouldn't be scared of me. So with the help of my mom and my sister, I did this.If this doesnt work, I’ll go home and change. I .... I just didn’t know what else to do.”

Dottie looked Robbie, and thought hard.

“You were willing to be a girl ... for me? I .... I .... That’s the most amazing and romantic thing I ever heard of!” She leaped into his arms, and gave him a solid kiss.

Which was interrupted when Drea came into to the room.

“Dottie! What ... who ....”

Dottie blushed, and said, “Its Robbie, Tante. He ... he made himself a girl, just so I could feel safe with him.”

Drea looked at the blushing young man in the skirt, and said, “Well, I guess you look nice enough. But both of you are a little young to be so serious. and in any case, we have to find Jaci. She was behaving so oddly when she left.”

“Oh my gosh! Jaci! We gotta find her, Robbie. Her parents came by, said all kinds of hurtful things, and then she left with a batch of cookies like nothing was wrong!”

“Do you know where she was going?”

“She told me she was gonna meet Keith at the park by the mill pond.”

“Okay, I better take the car. Can you show me?”

“Sure, Tante.”

“Can I come too?” Robbie asked.

“You okay with going out dressed like that?” Drea asked him

“I walked here. I figure that horse has left the barn.”

Dottie giggled, and then took his hand and led him to Drea’s car.

They made it to the park, and got out and started calling. A few moments later they found Jaci and Keith, looking rather embarrassed, and Keith a a bit of Jaci’s lipstick on his mouth.

“Jaci! Dont you know we were worried sick about you?” Drea said, while Dottie nodded in agreement.

“I’m sorry, Tante. But I dont think you have to worry about me when it comes to being a girl, at least. For the first time, I ... I’m happy I’m a girl.”

“Well, I’m glad to hear that, but you’re still going to get a punishment for going out without telling me where you were going.”

“Yes, Tante.” Jaci said, and then turned to Keith, “I’ll ... I’ll see you again, I promise. “

Keith smiled, and said, “I can’t wait.” Then he noticed Robbie standing behind Dottie in a skirt.

“Dude? What’s with the getup?”

Robbie blushed, and said, “I’ll explain later.”

Drea took Jaci and Dottie by the hands and led the girls back to the car, and after a good scolding of Jaci, decided to only ground her for a week. Then she went to talk with Dottie, who by that point was getting ready for bed.

“So ... Robbie wore a dress for you. To make you feel safe. How do you feel about that.”

Dottie blushed, and said, “Oh, Tante, its the most wonderful thing he could have done for me. And ... and ...”

“And what?”

“When I gave him a kiss, ... my breasts ... they stood out. I ... I think I was .... turned on by seeing him dressed like that. Pretty weird, huh? I mean, I was born a boy, and I never thought I would be interested in a boy, much less a boy in a dress. But ... I ... the way it made me feel to see him like that, I wouldn't mind seeing it again.”

“Be that as it may, Dottie. You’re both too young for serious stuff. I need you to promise me that no matter how you feel, you’ll take it slow.”

“I promise, Tante.”

Good night kisses were exchanged, and finally Drea got into her own nightie, crawled into bed, and fell asleep.

Whereupon she dreamed of a double wedding. Jaci and Dottie in beautiful bridal gowns, Keith in a fine tux, and Robbie in a tux-style dress.

“Please, not for a few years!” she pleaded in her sleep. “I just realized they are my daughters, I dont want to give them away, not yet.”

With that prayer, she fell into other dreams, knowing that the night was passing, and tomorrow would be a new adventure ....

Vignettes of life

These short insights of the two girls are wonderful! Please keep writing them!

Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?

However as I sit back and think I realize I am very proud of of both of them unless they argue. So ladies quits quabbling and make me proud..HUGS and warm snuggles

Seeing Robbie ...

... willing to look like a girl, so he could be around Dottie without triggering her, was just ... it kinda made me cry a lil bit. Even though I know boys can be nice, seein' one bein' so sweet, and caring, kinda makes the world feel a lil less scary. Thanks so much for sharin' this chapter, Dottie! :)
