have you miscounted the words ?

Even including the title, sub-title and the bit at the end that says "The End", I cannot find as many words as you wrote that there are in this.

Also, one would not normally include the title etc. in the word total, I think.

I have enjoyed your longer works very much, and thank you most sincerely for publishing them here. A joke is always fun, but I prefer the humour to be inside a story. On balance, I prefer your other, longer works, sorry.

Is there Magic at work here, perhaps, making the rest of it invisible ?
