I apologize if this is posted on the site somewhere...but can any story be posted or must it be within aspecific genre or content?

Well, if they are under age

they must have supervision as to what they can read because of materials on the site. That isn't applicable to the author, but to the reader (reader's parents).

Yes you can

post any type of story unless its really grisly brutal and masochistic and Erin doesnt like it. Doesn't have to be tg but the tg stuff is mainly what we post here. Feel free to write up what you want.

One addition to Sephrena's version of the rules

Non-transgender stories can be posted by someone who has previously posted a TG one.

I've only ever removed one story from the site, for content intended to cause trouble. I've removed a small number of non-stories posted as stories.

Erin

Erin has always run this site with the utmost tolerance of content but a very keen eye to appropriate warnings.

The reason I became a member was because the stories here were well, in many cases beautifully, written and rarely descended into the salacious, let alone the deeply pornographic, which had scared and disgusted me elsewhere and delayed my transition.

There have been a number of authors who wanted to explore those genres. Some then started writing less graphic stories, some left after receiving little or no feedback and support. I believe they started publishing on sites who welcomed such content.

If in doubt send a PM to Erin and ask her opinion.

I've seen some raunchy stories posted here. But I'm pretty sure anything with children or animals would be nixed.

I was referring to non-tg stories.
I'm not very good at extreme violence (isn't there enough of it in the movies and real life as it is).
I have a few stories that are not tg and wasn't sure if they would be welcomed on the site.

I will inquire with Erin before I post.
Thank you.

Good stories are were you find them regardless of genre. Have a good day and enjoy life.

Non-TG stories

Almost all non-tg stories here that I have noticed have been with characters or situations that occur in one of the universes.

By that I mean that someone starts by writing one or more stories set in the same place/location/time period/planet and with a tg setting. Subsequently, other stories are written in the same setting but without necessarily having tg content themselves.

Examples include some of the Whateley stories, based on the same campus as many of the tg tales. I am currently (slowly) writing a non-tg story set on Anmar which uses many of the characters in the main tale.

I can't think of any which don't have a connection to a previous tg story but I'm sure someone will correct me. Since this site is primarily for tg readers and writers, that is the sort of fare they expect to see. Without a link to a previous story, you probably won't find many readers - unless your name is Morpheus.

Well, all of my stories are interconnected in some way--most take place in the same universe, but across town from each other. For example, Cherry Moone takes place in the same year To Be a Different Someone, but at different schools.

I completely understand that non-tg, standalone stories should be kept to a minimum.
