    My journey through the UK Gender Identity Referral process. It won't be quick.

    I transitioned in 2008 without any support, having been refused a gatekeeper interview. That transition was short lived and ended after 6 weeks with a mental health breakdown. I next applied in 2012 and received approval, but the papers were lost. Finally in 2022 I restarted the process.

    With all the great feedback I received on my Janegirl Camp related blogs, I wanted to make sure I didn't lose any of them, so I'm going to be linking them here. Mostly, I'm doing this for my own reference, but I imagine others might be interested in the blogs related to this story as well. If you're wondering where I got the term "janegirl" I actually found it in a blog post by Erin Fletcher titled, "Father cut's sons hair, Mother is livid" on Mon, 2021/07/26.

    Autobiographical Stories

    This is a collection of stories about stuff that happened to me. While some really good stuff happened in my life, some really bad stuff happened too. So ... please read these stories with caution. Check the labels, as well as any blurbs at the beginning of the stories. If you have any doubt at all as to whether you should read one of the stories here, then please don't. I'd rather my stories go unread, than have anyone hurt or harmed by reading something I've written.

    TG Universes & Series:

    The Visund finally departs Joth on its delayed voyage towards the upper reaches of the river Sirrel. Several of the countries to be visited are known friends, where the crew are sure of an honest welcome, but there are others who are not so keen to have such a strange vessel appear in their waters.

    TG Universes & Series:

    The Norse long ship Visund departs Dekarran for an exploratory trip upstream along the great river Sirrel. The aim is to call at many of the countries which line the rivber banks, most of which took part in the recently concluded war.

    Along the way a castaway is discovered. What is then revealed changes the plans of all concerned, and reveals tensions few knew existed.

    Oh well.

    This is a direct copy of Ch 42, which was appended after Ch 41 originally, and that is why the word usage key begins at 29 . I have added it as an appendix because I thought it would be more obvious here, and hence easier to find, for anyone interested.

    Appendix of words, word forms and an insight into the rules that govern how it works. There are some details of irregular words here, however, the appendix is neither complete nor properly organised yet. I'll be working on it for some time, but it's a start. Within any given section it's organised alphabetically.

    Author's Note: The next few chapters, save for flashback scenes, take place about the same time as a major event in Minikisa's "Of Heroes and Villains." I recommend giving her series a read sometime if you have not done so already. When we were both writing our stories, this was the first of a couple overlaps that had occurred, but you do not need to go read her first story to understand this one.

    This is just a place holder for the next batch of chapters in A Second Chance. The first part will have from 1-35, and 36 on will appear under this section. Hopefully I am doing this right, and in a couple weeks I should post the first Chapter under it. 'Til then, read the other parts under the main heading.

    Numbers first, as that may help people understand some things in the story a bit better:

    Ais = one, ta = two, tor = three, kras = four, par = five, kif = six, nal = seven, gri = eight, nef = nine

    Tark = ten, ais'tark = eleven, ta'tark = twelve, etc.

    Bett = twenty, ais'bett = 21, etc.

    Frin = thirty, mip = forty, ler = fifty, ves = sixty, zil = seventy, goj = eighty, wid = ninety

    Lond = hundred, senv = thousand, so ais'lond would be one hundred, kif'senv would be six thousand, etc.
