I went over the story again as I made my rounds setting tells and making sure the house is secure before turning in for the night.

I still don’t get it.

Pulling on my normal nightwear of boxers and a t-shirt, I wonder what tomorrow will bring. I am not sure that I am looking forward to it.

Becoming paranoid, I close every door inside the house with tells in place before going to bed.

After turning out the light, I notice a very faint glow from the topaz necklace laying on my nightstand.

I am very tired when I get back to my lonely home late that evening. After trying unsuccessfully to work the clasp on the necklace in my exhausted state, I decide to just leave it on for the night as I fall into bed.

The Twelve Days of Christmas

By Tiffany B. Quinn

Tradition has it that the magi took twelve days to find the Christ child after the new star first appeared at the time of the child’s birth. This is a magical time, which ends the day before Epiphany. Unlike the eighteenth-century English Christmas carol which details an increasing number of gifts with the twelve days of Christmas, Karl’s gifts do not increase in number daily. Instead, their cumulative effect has a profound impact on his life view.

Saturday, June 9th, 6:51 a.m., 53 miles south and southwest of Boulder, CO
The engines throttling back woke me. Flagg was watching me get my bearings, then raised a bottle of water to his lips and finished it off.

“Get a good rest?”

She nodded, "My father is the accountant for Louis de la Vega Corbino or as is he is better known Lupe. That name means something about a wolf and a river,” she said as if it was a ridiculous nickname.

--- Six years and 5 days ago ---

June 3rd, 20:23 local time, Patsah Melah, Afghanistan
I had been connected on and off to the SAT-Link laptop since arriving an hour ago at our position on the outskirts of Patsah Melah. Colonel Flagg's delegation was just east of our position over the Afghanistan/Pakistan border and had arrived about three hours ahead of our making it to Patsah Melah.

Author's note: I have published this story on two other sites. I always said it was slightly autobiographical, but reading it back it is a pretty accurate account of my summer of '88. There are only 3 things that I changed. 2 are itsy bitsy tiny details and one well that is quite big. Please send postcards with the correct answers. ha... I hope YOU like it.

*Stories from the real world 1
This story is slightly autobiographical.

When I was 20 years old I used to drive a van for my parents from Brooklyn to Tarrytown New York once a week to drop off merchandise for retail shops in the area. I always had a full van on the way up, but on the way down the van was almost empty. It was the summer of 1985 and I was given twenty-five to forty dollars, plus gas to make the drive. I did this for the entire summer while I was home from college.

Letter to Mum

Dear mum,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you have given me throughout my life. I know the sacrifices you have made to raise me and my brothers. The long hours you worked to put food on the table. Scrimping and saving to take us away on holidays.

Now that I’m old enough to understand you explained that dad never wanted children. Which explains why he rarely came on holiday with us. Why he never did things with us like our friend’s dad’s did. I can forgive him that. I understand now people want what they want.

Sasha - An Introduction

Prologue:
Hi, my name is Sasha Anderson. I just turned 12 years old last week. I'm
four foot ten inches tall, and almost 90 pounds. You may have seen photos
of me on the internet. I am a contestant in America's Hottest Teen
Transsexual Pageant, under 13 category. It's an online beauty pageant for
young transgirls. Some nasty people online have accused my mom of setting
me on the path of being a TS porn star and escort. But it's way more
complicated than that. This is a path that I choose for myself. She

Moments of Madness -1-

A story I wrote a long time back, and I have decided before I do my new stuff I want to rewrite this so that I can share it with people again.

This story takes play just after my first real life break down (so many years ago), and while this is based on, there are elements that are enhanced and changed for the sake of telling a fantasy story.

Using the experiences of what happened, I wanted to write something that was still TG but would allow me to explore and explain the voyage I had. A warning, this talks about suicide and a mental breakdown that did get me in a mental ward within hospital, so only read this if you can emotionally do so.

The transformation in this story doesn't happen until later chapters, so I do hope you can read through to that point.

Note: To those of you who have trouble with religious ideas in this genre, I suggest that you skip this story. When I think of Christmas, I cannot help but think of its religious foundations. It is from these thoughts, that this story has sprung.

Chapter Two – Buyer Will Want to See Dick

Uri and Katya prepare Jennifer Jones to go undercover to expose a people smuggling ring. They need to hear Jennifer's history to help her build a reliable, convincing backstory.

The Nurse's Office

After posting a couple of pretty dark memories, I thought it might be nice to share something lighter, so I rooted through what bits I could remember, until I came across a particularly special memory. Even now, I still smile, while thinking of this moment. :)

The Cut

While I've written a couple of stories that dealt with suicide, I've never had the nerve to describe my own experience. Until now. Please ... please be careful, before reading this story, and make sure it's something you feel you can handle. Knowing other people are okay is a lot more important to me than knowing this story is read.

A Conversation with Mom

For God So Loved the World:

A Conversation with Mom

This is part one of a collection of short stories about Rachel Evans' life after the events detailed in For God So Loved the World.... Each one is based on a real conversation the author has had with family and friends relating to her transition, her faith, and her life before and after becoming the woman God meant her to be.

For God So Loved the World...

Little Rachel "Rae" Evans was a happy little girl. Her mother would say that when she laughed, she could make an entire room of people break out in smiles. All that changed when she was four and the laughter stopped. From then on, she withdrew into herself and hid from the world, convinced that no one, not even God, could ever truly love, or even understand her.
