Just for some inspiration here's Gab's mate Cav riding the Tour de France in 2014 - in Leyburn, Yorkshire - not sure where Gab is, didn't see her! As you can see there were a few bike racing fans out giving them all a huge Yorkshire welcome - it was like this for 400km over the two days! The World Championships will be in Yorkshire in a couple of years, we might just make a bit of fuss about that too!
Lets hope 2016 is a good year for everyone from hapless sprinters to Girl Wonders!

in part 1 Gabs mentions that Mandy had just gone home for the holiday, so this is after the worlds and team GB is training in Germany with Gaby.

I Was Under the Same Impression...
...as Bibliophage: that this was a non-canon way to get Gaby and Nena together, and had no story significance. Or that it was an one-shot event so trivial to both overall storylines that it didn't matter whether or not it was canon. Either way, it wasn't part of a continuing series of events leading to another story.

It is not directly canon in either series but - and you may be waiting some time, the episode may well surface in canon when one or both series reach this point in the time/space continuem!
So this short diversion is like a touch between the two rather than an entirely separate issue.

and the latter is pushing it, since Gaby is nearing the end of the children's races and going to have to go adult or pro while the whole Ahrs Angels group are getting close to finishing high school. ( in the current Gaby arc )
