SamanthaMD, the only company authorized to published the book in electronic or physical copy is Chiffon Publishers. As I noted on a post years earlier, a copyright only gives one the right to try and stop illegal infringement. The story is posted on BCTS legally. Any other electronic or physical copies out there besides the dead tree ones from Chiffon Publishers is theft.
One reason I did not sign into that site and see if the story would download is Change of Heart is a tad over one meg large. They listed the download over four meg. What are they sending besides the story? It is why I warned everyone to NOT get infected if they go to the URL
I screen captured the web pages and trapped all the URLs and their page code plus one they link to which I'm thinking is a storage site. "icebox.com"

Police and courts don't stop anyone from stealing. They will let one get it back if one can prove ownership provided it was discovered and recovered. Stories are like that. What financial losses one experiences is up to the lawyers and courts after the fact. Seldom is it economically feasible to file in court. Speaking from more than my fair share of court cases. Even if one wins a case they don't have to pay. Back to court for Execution of Judgement provided they can even be found and served legal notice. They moved? New filling again. They don't own property? Forget court unless one just wants to support the lawyers. They moved out of state or don't live in your state? Kiss it off. Save your money.

Thieves are like weeds. They will always be there stealing moisture from the crops we raise to feed the world and sell to pay the bills. We will never eliminate weeds or thieves.
