12/31/19 20:55 CST my mother passed. She had stroke-induced dementia among other health issues and finally forgot how to stay alive. It's been very rough for the past two years. The new year will begin, without her in it. I am not one for prayers, neither believe nor worship any god, but if you do then go ahead. I do not know what this new year will bring, I can only hope for less heartache. No calls, this is all I wish to share on the matter

I and others are thinking of you and hoping this year brings you better times.

Sad

So sorry for your loss. We never get over grief, we just learn how to manage it and go on. Near the end of the month, it will be four years since I lost my wife after having her companionship for 29 years.

Hugs 2 You.

Remember

One of my chief comforts when my mother passed was to sit and think of all the wonderful memories she had left me. This doesn't work for everyone and for most people there is a time in which the pain is more prominent.

Please remember, too, that you have the love and respect you have earned here and elsewhere by your own efforts. Come back to us when you are weary of grieving.

Hugs,
Erin
