My thoughts on the world and what is coming about for the future! Expect at least one post from the Shady Place of my mind at least once a week or once every two weeks when I'm busy.

Let's Discuss Projects and Goals
August is upon us and work has continued on a variety of my projects. And I mean "projects" when I say it! Because I have some pretty severe issues with ADHD I can have problems focusing on one thing at a time. After a bit of thought I've began to organize all my various media into a few parts. Here on BCTS, my blog is dedicated mostly to my thoughts and what's going on in my life. The Shady Post, by it's definition is a update blog and one where I discuss a few things on my mind. I've considered creating a general life update blog separate from Shady Post, but that idea is still in the works.

My Ko-Fi is where I post a few things from excerpts of my stories to Dungeon Delve a blog I write specifically on tropes and writing. At the moment, my official website is in need of a serious update and web domain change. I plan on changing my current website "altear-rpg.org" to QuinnNiCallaghan.com as that will be my new author handle. For the long and short of it I use an elongated formalized form of my Gaelic name "Quinn Tamsin Ní Callaghan". For those unsure, Ní, is the feminine form "Ó" and honestly the name Quinn Ní Callaghan has a nice ring to it if I say so myself! That's a big step though and a nice bit of money and will require me to move around a lot of my content.

The next big step after that will be reorganizing the site so all the current content isn't completely lost or corrupted. I have at least 2-3 forums archived on my site and so there's a few things I want kept around. Plus there is my Land In The Stars subsite I wanna keep live. LITS is one of my ongoing world-building projects and includes years of notation and addition. I already have a book planned set in the universe, Soul of Storms. Which I plan to detail and release a few teasers in the future.

Now that all being said, my major goal in the long term is to gather the fans of my work in an active friendly community. It might seem strange, but I find true enjoyment in directly speaking and making friends with my fans. This was originally just a group of friends, but has expanded to include many from guildemates from previous MMOs to those interested in the settings I've created. As my website is up in the air, I've placed a higher importance on Discord as an active community home. As I prepare to start stepping back into the paid publishing world i want to grow that community. I've already accomplish so much in these last few years. I've been published before and I've ran gaming clans that still are loved to this day.

But I know that if I work hard enough I can build a fanbase and create a solid friend group to support me. Thanks to everyone whose liked my work so far, it's only going to get better from here.
