Fictioneer Back Up and BCTS Upgrade Scheduled

Printer-friendly version

Forums:

Fictioneer is back up at Http://fictioneer.org. Yay!

This has been the project keeping Piper busy for most of a week, there are a few tweaks and adjustments to be done but the site is up and running with the same PF6 software that BCTS is running right now.

Next stop, the BCTS upgrade to PF7 scheduled for this week. Expect some outages of the site for a few hours, probably on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wish us luck!

Hugs,
Erin, Piper and Cat

Cat herding?

Hmm, is it an oxymoron if Cat is cat herding?

My first thought was that she

My first thought was that she was herding herself, but I'm not entirely sure how that would work out.

It will be interesting to see what this upgrade will bring to the plate. I do hope you've found a replacement for the Kudos plugin.

Have delightfully devious day,

Not to give too much away... But... We do have a replacement for the kudos module, that has a promise of support up through Drupal 9, and We've actually done a test run of porting all the data from Kudos to the New module so there shouldn't be anything lost in the process :)

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Thanks or the heads up!

Thanks for the heads up about the upgrades and possable downtimes. Could you post an early warning as to the times BC will be down while you are working on BC's servers?

Yay Indeed!

Saw Fictioneer in the new header last night and almost posted a shout-out when I did. (Since there wasn't anything new (post-2012) to see there yet, I decided to hold off at least until I could see whether it was functional.)

(Erin, did you unpub your unfinished serials from Fictioneer? Can't find the one I was looking for...)

Eric

Unpubbed at Fictioneer

I unpubbed three of my series at F!, Birdsong, Cliff Hangeur and The Balladeers, each for a different reason.
