Dark Mode?

I know Erin probably has her hands full as it is... but i've been sort of wandering around other sites this last year and i've discovered that not only do i LOVE 'Dark Mode'... but im finding more and more just how much the normal white background with black words hurts my eyes. You think it would be too difficult to add a Dark Mode button?

I'd love to see a dark mode.

I read on my tablet from bed frequently. It'd sure be nice to swap the background and forground color. I wonder if it could be done with just a style sheet. CSS is such fun. Inspecting this page it looks like it's not a simple change. Oh well. Can we add Dark Mode it as a feature request?

Love ya.

Don't know how it works on mobiles but FFox has a reader mode where one can change font, font size, font color and background.

Your web browser may or may not have such an option. Firefox does -- go to "Customize" and click on "Themes" at the bottom.

On the other hand, an elaborate web-page design would probably override the themes settings. Hence QModo's comment on reader mode.

Dark mode

If you are using an iPad there is a reading mode built in, there is an icon in the left of the address bar that opens it, once in reading mode you can change the settings to have white text on a black background.
