Well, after being exposed to the ore, Unavailium, for a fair amount of time, I'm finally recovering and I am able to participate more frequently. I am so glad that the site was blessed with the abundance of talent displayed in the contest. Congrats to everybody involved. And thank you for your gifts!

I had the first of two injections in the second course of treatment. My doctor reviewed this week's photos and the direct exam during the treatment and said that there's improvement in the tissue around both retinas. She is very much encouraged by what the exam revealed. Certainly much more than what is usually hoped for for retinopathy.

After next week there will be a month's pause followed by review and a third round of injections. Between the numbing agents and the configuration of nerves, there has been very little discomfort during and afterward, so YAY!
