Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go...

Hi everyone.

I feel like I'm letting the side down, but as from Monday, I shall be a working man again.

I know, it's become something of an alien concept round here too - with the exception of the DIY-ing that is!

Provisionally, it's due to last until the end of November, but there is a possibility of it going on further, though at this stage I don't know.

I was hoping to have been able to continue a project Kris and I have started, but that's not to be - yet - and I was also hoping to post another story of my own, but well, with the 'home improvements' (I say that, as it's a matter of opinion as to whether my handiwork actually 'improves') and now working, it's not going to happen - certainly not by Sunday evening anyway!

I shall pop back from time to time and have a look, to try and keep up with what's happening, but in the meantime, I shall bid you all adieu and hope to see you (metaphorically speaking that is) soon...

For your help and contributions and good luck. We'll see you when you can get back around. :)

Unfortunately it pays the bills! Write when you can.

No, no, no

You are not allowed to work. You are supposed to be a poor and suffering artist who cares only for their art and for their public.

Then peanut butter, OJ, bread and toilet paer all cost money and heated room come winter is nice, so okay you can work for a while, but not too long.

P.S. In a one pannel cartoon I saw somewhere a while back you see two minor devils in Hell looking over one of the pits. In the distance seven short men are marching carrying pickaxes, shoves and such. The are singing Hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go. One devil turns to the other and says "The realy hellish thing is that's the only song they know."

Yes, yes, yes John

Why thank you John, I do like a warm room in the winter and since Australia is DEFINITELY off the cards, I think heating is something of a necessity!

Judging by the way my contracting usually goes, this one contract is likely to be it for the rest of the year. I'll probably get another one after Easter next year. I think that fits your infrequency requirements pretty well!
