A quick note to anyone who is a fan of my stories or flash fiction. If you haven't noticed already I've been contributing to Hutcho's monthly anthology. So be sure to check it out if you haven't already and note that I have (until now) been quietly adding links to each of my contributions on my Author Page.

It's been a while since I've updated you all on my writing progress. Battle for Earth is coming along nicely I want to wrap things up hopefully by the end of the month, and start the long process of editing and refining the grammar so I can finally let this sucker see the light of day (hopefully) sometime early next year. I've split the story up into five parts sub-titled Resistance, Infiltration, Downfall, Coalescence, and Liberation .Each of is 35,000 words or more and the total word count will be 200,000+ maybe as many as 210,000.

This has turned out to be my most ambituous project to date, I've created images which take the form of cover art as well as what I've come to think as "character cards" which will contain a short bio about all the major players in the story and will be scattered throughout each part. Most of these images are composite images composed of a number of different photos (as many as seven or eight not including the backgrounds) and run through several different photoshop filters. The end result is something that looks a new an unique image. This is probably the closest I could come to original 'art' without commisioning some pieces. I've followed a more traditional novel/chapter format with this project. Bigcloset and tgstorytime I will more than likely see me posting each part in chunks that will contain a number of chapters. Fictionmania will probably get to see each part posted as a whole after the corresponding chunks have found their way onto the other two sites.
