There will be
We're working on making it an easy to maintain and useful feature. Part of that was changing it so it is editable by someone who is not an admin; this moved it into the story area but when I get a rountuit, I will do some shenanigans to move it back above the story teaser line. :) When it gets moved to where it should be, there will be a box to uncheck in your myaccounts page to hide it.
