Has anyone heard or know anything about Ellen Hayes?
Her site does not seem to have had any updates in over 2 years.....

Sadly

The short answer is no. Which is disappointing, as I had hoped to see one of the Tuck sagas wrapped up.

Do you know

Can you put up or send me a link to the original Tuck Seasons? I've certainly enjoyed reading the newer version but at this point I'm just short of making up my own Tuck vignets and I'm not nearly as good at paranoia as Ellen was.

There is no direct link to a copy of that old story

At least not one that I know of and last time it was mentioned, it seemed taboo on this site as there is an unspoken understanding to respect the wishes of the author. Ironically, it is the very simplicity of Ellen's website that makes it possible to recover that story. So let us just say that the internet does have a 'memory' and leave it at that. BTW, no one told me either and it only suddenly occurred to me one day as to how it can be done.

Ellen

If you followed her back then, you saw her health was not good, her equipment was in poor shape (she hated an upgrades and preferred to use older stuff that she knew and was familiar with, and she did her own coding, from what I understand. Money was always tight, she had trouble getting her meds, she wasn't on the best ground with the in-laws, and then her spouse left and she was facing moving again. I THINK, and that's another word for MY OPINION, and I have had only one contact with her years ago, when she had to take it all apart, she either couldn't get it back together, or parts quit working, or she had no space for it, or she just gave up on it. Still wish I could hear from her, even if she yelled at me. Same to Wendy J. another good person, good author, that just vanished.
